Just seen (and started to read myself) a very cool interview with Yasuhisa Kawamura who wrote the scenario for Biohazard 3(Resident Evil 3) and I thought people here may well be interested in reading it too as he goes into a lot of depth.

Enjoy.

Great read and very interesting. Thanks for the links!

I still haven't played Resident Evil 6, I should get round to it.

I would have liked to have seen the original Resident Evil 4 released. I think they deviated too much from the original canon.

I'm playing RE6 on co-op with a friend at the moment, neither of us can quite believe how completely off-the-rails the series has become. RE5 wasn't great but it was at least coherent and explained the story as it went along. RE6 is pure nonsense.

5 was very boring and only made slightly enjoyable through co op with a friend who also loved the res evil series. They've moved so far away from the old games it's almost not resident evil. If it didn't have Chris and wesker you wouldn't think it was a res evil game.

Some parts of res 6 was actually pretty good, such as Leons story and actually having zombies! But overall 5 and 6 and disappointing compared to res 1 and 2.
