Ok guys, i am a little out of touch with the latest and greatest in the scene for Desktop Gaming as BGA laptop / console work is killing me. So i am here for a new PC Build advice.
My old rig has started Killing HDD's badly. 6 Gone in under 4 months so i think an upgrade is needed.

Parts i dont need are :

Monitor : Using my Two TV's. 1 40 for Solo, 1 60 for Heavy MP / Intense action - 3D wuld be nice since that is 3d and F1 looks immense in 3d.
Mouse : Using a Razer Naga.

: i7 CPU? Or AMD Piledriver? I am thinking to stick with an intel based for a Triple boot option i usually use.
: RAM is cheap atm, But is 32gb a waste or can i get this into the budget?
: Motherboard with UEFI the 'norm' these days?
: Dual SLI / Triple GFX ( Nvidia as i am an Nvidia Fanboy ) 3D output?
: 1x SSD just for Windows and Game / Photoshop installs. Extra HDD space is a must though. for my 'data' as over the years i have accumulated a shocking amount of data. So 4TB+ is needed.
: Case i am unsure of going into the 'cube' design or stick with a nice large case.
: Sound Card with SPDIF output.
: 1200W PSU? Or is that overkill?
: BDBurner
: Onboard wifi? Or do we think standalone wifi is better from a dedicated card?
: Haven't watercooled before but would LOVE to get into it. But should i grab a Zalman Fanned CPU Cooler?
: Good cable management system. Colour coded to match the Case / LED Fans
: Keyboard - Razer Mechanical would be LUSH. But green to match my NAGA LED's.

Yes i have high hopes, and YES i know what i want. It's if i CAN get what i want that is the main issue here lol
Don't think i am missing anything. Primarily used for gaming / Photoshop.

What ideas do we have. Getting fed up of using the missus's laptop so would like to get this going as quick as possible. Preferably paid before the weekend.

Are you looking to build this your self or are you wanting a prebuilt system?

I can build myself with a part's list.

I've done the configurator, but there's a few thing's in there i have no need for that are a 'must' so it seems. Came to :2987 with 2 day turn around time.

Would something like this do ?

Intel Core i7 giving you loads of power for Photoshop bit overkill for gaming mind, 16Gb of RAM should do also notice the 2 sets in different colours ;).....

Dual GTX 770's in SLI more then enough horse power for any game currently on out in the public domain.

Blue-Ray burner as asked for and the Keyboard plus that all important Soundcard :)

1 x Corsair AF120 Performance Series Low Noise High Airflow - Single Pack £13.99
Total : £2,496.43 (includes shipping : £14.75).

: i7 CPU? Or AMD Piledriver? I am thinking to stick with an intel based for a Triple boot option i usually use. Haswell 4770K - outperforms Piledriver in the majority of applications
: RAM is cheap atm, But is 32gb a waste or can i get this into the budget? 32GB is a waste & try not to fill all four slots - Haswell memory controller is fantastic so you'd be better getting 2x8GB 2400MHz than 4x8GB of slower stuff
: Motherboard with UEFI the 'norm' these days? yes
: Dual SLI / Triple GFX ( Nvidia as i am an Nvidia Fanboy ) 3D output? Dual high end is plenty
: 1200W PSU? Or is that overkill? Overkill, even with dual Titan
: Onboard wifi? Or do we think standalone wifi is better from a dedicated card? Dual Band dedicated is the best option
: Haven't watercooled before but would LOVE to get into it. But should i grab a Zalman Fanned CPU Cooler? We can help if you wanted to watercool - Zalman aren't as "premium" as they used to be, there are better options.

Doh !!! with my spec I forgot the Wi-Fi card :( but personally I would use a power line adapter as these are much much reliable then the signal on Wi-Fi.

16gb is great for games, mind you 32gb would also be good for photoshop if you move around large files, so i wouldn't class 32gb as a waste, unless it's gaming only, and you don't want to use ram drives etc

ram drives, not as big as sdd's, but a lot quicker

edited, ps; users also asks for 4tb storage, not a knock at your spec either Ethermaster, just a different view

WD green are slow, low power drives, lower spin, not great with large files for photoshop, better to go black, or standard, for me i'd also change vga as for the price they aren't that much quick than amd ones that are a lot better value, then again thats a choice

edited;

drop a vga card or go amd and get a cheaper option, install WD black, 2 x 2tb etc or a 4tb model, then under budget

I think i need a change of underwear! Damn that looks absolutely sexy! I can scrap the Windows 8 Install, as i already have a DVD of that i purchased on release. That is some sheer geek porn! Not going to jump straight in right yet, but this is definitely given me some food for thought. I will wait for some more posts from other users. But to be honest, this looks like the PERFECT system.
I don't mind going a little over budget like here, As you can't put a price on quality.

Also i posted i haven't watercooled before. Would it be wiser upgrading to atercooling later on? ANd sticking with a nice Dual Fan CPU cooler? Also i have been told i won't need a sound card if i use my TV sound system. Thoughts on that?
