Breaking News: #CardiffCity Football Club have today reached an agreement with FC Copenhagen for the services of Andreas Cornelius

I'm away for a walk!

Isco is officially done. Where's is Biz?!?

It's ok, Manchester City were never really in for him.

In actual Sheffield Wednesday transfer news! We have ****ing signed someone! :D.

Sheffield Wednesday sign Burton winger Jacques Maghoma.

BBC Link.

Also; Prutton and Llera have signed new contracts at the club.

Chris O'Grady: Barnsley sign Sheffield Wednesday striker.

BBC Link.

Annnnnd (I know it's already been posted) Bolton signed one of the Sheffield Wednesday kids.

Hayden White: Bolton sign Sheffield Wednesday full-back.

BBC Link.

Hopefully learning to not take bluemoon as gospel and that just because Txiki Begiristain is your DoF, spanish born players still won't want to come to his club unless they offer stupid wages.
Lo.
I have posted in good faith on here the bits I have read or heard. Like everyone else on this forum does.

I never thought we would sign Isco because of Txiki, it was Pellegrini but oh well he's gone to Real. Good luck to him, will be interesting to see where he plays, played as a LW almost for Spain and attacking mid for Malaga.

Could be nonsense as well but apparently Real gave his Dad 10m "agents" fee. Crazy if true.

He was always going to go to Real Madrid, imho :).

Manchester City are looking a bit light up front with Tevez gone and Dzeko on his way out of the Dzoor :D. Any news on incoming forwards Biz?

Well I had hope that Pellegrini may have bee able to sway it but alas that hasn't happened.

I think Dzeko will stay, our only real option of selling him was to Napoli as part of a Cavani deal. That doesn't look like happening and with Dortmund keeping Lewandowski they wouldn't come in for him either.

According to Di Marzio we may go in for Gomez. I don't see that though personally. Would much rather sign someone like Jovetic who can play across the front line like Tevez and not just stand in the box and tap it in, Dzeko can do that!

We have Guidetti as well who is untested in the PL, but was fantastic in Holland before his injury so Pellgrini may well just utilise him to rest Aguero or Dzeko.

Yeah I said it had already been posted :p.

Just thought I'd update the world of Overclockers with the comings and goings of Sheffield Wednesday :D... for the ... well for anyone who cares, which is nobody :D.

A club challenging for multiple trophies needs more than a Dzeko, Aguero and a youngster.

I quite like Dzeko, but I can see him leaving and I think then Manchester City need to bring in another two top forwards.

Interesting that you mentioned Cavani as I'd read that his family have said the only English club that he's interested in is Chelsea.

SSN reporting that Arshavin has gone back to Zenit on a free transfer, shame he didnt last long in the team..will never forget his superb hattrick a few yrs back against Liverpool.

Id have preferred him over Gervinho in all honesty, think we will have to pay a team to take Gervinho off us:p:D

Looks like I'm going to need a new sig :(

Whoever mentioned the Rooney/Walcott stats, both considered, rightly or wrongly, very very good in this league. Was it 11/12 and 14/10 for goals assists for those two. Something along those lines, I just find it hilarious because in the last full season Nasri/Arshavin had at Arsenal, Nasri 16 goals 4 assists across all competitions only 10 goals 1 assist in the league and left for over £20mil with supposedly a few other clubs trying hard for his signature. Arshavin finished that same season with 10 goals 18 assists, 6/11 in the league, having started less league games than most, often subbed early and would be subbed on late....

Then Wenger who was desparate to keep the worse player in Nasri, decided to bench Arshavin and barely ever use him again. He had a fantastic season, statistically he produced a buttload of assists and a decent number of goals and did it in significantly less game time than Nasri/others in the team. Oh well, love the little guy, he's pure quality but got randomly crapped on by Wenger for no obvious reason.

I personally rate him above Cazorla, but not much, a bit ahead of Podolski(mostly as Podolski is really a striker than creator), freaking light years ahead of Gervinho, Diaby, Ramsey, Rosicky(smaller gap but still significantly better), complete joke how we've treated him.

EDIT:- I'd actually rate the Nasri situation as close to Fellani in that, Nasri that season only actually had a good 1/3rd of the season but he started well and got goals and that established how people regarded his season. By November or so Nasri was being talked about as having a great season, the fact that his form fell off a cliff for 2/3rd's of the season didn't change peoples opinion, his season was great and it stuck regardless of how he played from then on. Fellani the same, first 1/3rd of a season was good, but he was pretty meh for the rest of the season and paying £20mil + for a good 1/3rd of a season is madness, and Nasri has shown that, 5 and 2 goals in the league since his "big" move. All because he got lucky over a few months and got double what he usually scored with far less assists. Fellani is barely a 10mil player, and he didn't have a particularly good season, he just started it well, in a position he basically never plays as a makeshift striker, back in midfield, he was "meh".

To be honest (Re City/Tevez), I think the days of teams having 4 top strikers is over. The vast majority of top sides don't play two up front, and rotating four strikers for one position doesn't really make sense.

I see what your saying but it wouldn't surprise me if we signed no big names and just brought in another prospect.

I don't see it, the only clubs that I could see him at dont look likely and for all we know Pellgrini may make Dzeko the main man.

Well ADL said the only team he has had contact with is City but our offer which included Dzeko wasnt enough, from what I read we have just pulled out of any further negotiations unless Napoli get desperate to sell him.

One player who could be on his way is Kolarov, Juventus apparently discussed him during the Tevez deal but wanted to get that deal done first.

Dodgy 'Arry makes Danny Simpson from Newcastle his first signing of the summer for QPR....3 yr deal.

Good signing to be honest, he was rock solid for us in the championship. His only weakness was going forward and crossing the ball! I always used to get annoyed that he never closed the ball down enough either, but he did a good job with very little support most of the time from Ben Arfa!!

I hate SSN saying they "understand Isco is set to join Real Madrid"... Well no ****ing ****! It's on their ****ing OS!!

SSN breaking with the United bid for Baines, last summer I didn't see the need for him, half way through last season I was thinking we would have been better had we signed him, now though with him a year older I'm back to thinking whether he'd be worth the fee :/

Good signing for the short term though no doubt
