Decent ipad car charger

I will be going on a long holiday soon and wanted to buy a decent car charger for my ipad. Can someone recommend a good one? Thanks

First and cheapest option is to get a cigarette lighter USB power thingy that's rated up to 2A. You can pick one up for around a fiver.

Alternatively, get an inverter. £25-30 will get you a decent enough one. The one I got is rated up to 300W and allows me to use any standard mains chargers plus also has two USB sockets, one 1A and one 2A. More expensive but more flexible as it allows you to use non-USB chargers for things like laptops or camera batteries.

And it works fine with an ipad?

Yep, used it last weekend at Le Mans. It's rated at 2A so will charge an iPad pretty much as fast as the mains charger does.

Been using a cheapie couple of £ dual USB charger from the bay rated iirc at 3.3a charges box my ipad and I phone fine and is working fine after a few months non stop use
