Monitor gap after installing drivers! Help

I just got my pc today, installed windows 8 and there was no gap however i dont remmber which one trigged the gap in my monitor whether it was my motherboard CD or my GPU drivers. -> screenshot see the arrows ? thats the gap

There was no gap before installing either drivers:
Specs:
vtx3d 7870 LE Black edition
Motherboard: M5A99X EVO R2.0
Monitor: Benq GL2450
Can anyone Help?
 
This is overscan (well underscan in your case). Go to Catylist Control Centre, then Scaling section on the left, then... The sub menu with the slider and slide The slider to the right until your whole screen is used and hit that apply button! Make sure you then set your monitor to 50hz and do the same process, and them put back to 60hz. as some games are 50hz only.
 
tried opening catalyst control centre, select 'digital flat panels' and then scaling options and make sure underscan-overscan is set to 0% or play with it till image fills screen?

This fixed it, thank you very much, whats the point of it doing that in the 1st place?
 
quick question aswell when i go to device manager and under display adapters it says AMD radeon HD 7800 series is this correct? I thought it would be a bit more specific ? like AMD HD 7870 ? maybe VTX3D 7870 ?

that sounds about right. wouldn't worry about it
