Udyr is bad? Pretty dumb statement. Solid at pretty much everything, falls off late late game but the other areas of his game more than make up for it

Agreed, can give some solid ganks if you know how to get your positioning right when playing him.

Been playing a lot of support and jungle recently; trying to improve my all round abilities rather than concentrate on specific roles.

Gave Twisted Fate a go yesterday in a bot game. Didn't do anything worth writing home about. Doesn't seem all that difficult to play bar having to keep an eye on other lanes so you know when to use your ult for a good gank. Was mid solo and both other lanes were getting fed, 1 of them on Graves was at something like 20/0 in almost as many minutes while I was still sat at 0 being against Veigar who I could never finish off.

Then realised today that Zac was free too. He's awesome. Played a couple of bot games just to get used to him. Great fun to play.

Platinum in 30 wins :p

Finaly in silver 3 now :)

Things are looking up in ranked, hopefully get to silver 2 or 1 this weekend!

Had my promo series last night, lost the first game, won the second and the thrid, the third game was the most intense game in ranked i've ever played.

I was playing Kennen mid, had a Quinn top, Nunu jungle, Ashe and Thresh at bot lane, our Quinn was getting killed a lot but managed to stay equal to jarvans farm, i was destroying TF mid when hecarim turns up and i get a double kill, i snowballed from there basicaly had 50% more farm than everyone and atleast 6 kills before 10 minutes, so Nunu starts to randomly DC the entire game and goes behind, then ashe DCs for about 10 minutes, i was crapping myself but i managed to hold Quinn and Thresh together, we won a 3v5 engage, my ult and thresh ult to hold them in place literally killed them outright.

So this is a prime example not to surrender when your behind or have a disconnect.

What does everyone think of the jungle changes?
Really disliking them at the moment (as a jungle main) - shifting 90% of the exp onto the buff monsters is a stupid idea, miss one or two in the first two rounds (0-7 mins) of clearing and your basically useless until the 20-25 min mark in a solo Q game - and of corse no team mate is ever awake to the fact your being counter jungled even if you ward it up and they can see them.
I noticed in 'pro' games, if this happens then the jungle joins a lane to leach exp and catch up but in solo Q you just get shouted at and reported :/ bad times.

re: Udyr.

Tried him again - he still sucks for me.
Not as tanky as Zac / Voli , deals less damage tanky then Zac and Voli, has a higher build cost (which sucks if your a jungler) etc.
I cant see a reason to play him :/

I dont think its quite that bad, but yeh your right if you get counter jungled forget getting help from your team. Tbh even if they do take a buff in the first 7 mins, you gotta just farm like mad, try and get a few ganks in to account for it.

If they start getting overconfident and not getting kills with ganks whilst your farming its super easy to get even again. Some people seem to spaz out when a buff is taken - its really not the end of the world and you only harm yourself if you think 'OMFG its gg, end of the game, buff stolen' and forget to account for the remaining 20+ minutes where anything crazy can happen

I think the biggest issue is that the golem camp is just too hard at the moment, especially when your under <6 you end up burning 2 pots just to take them out with a lot of junglers, its almost becoming a bit of a joke that most people dont even touch them till level 5.

I completely avoid the golem camp to begin with, i usually do the buffs, wraiths and wolves then look for a gank and when smite is back off cooldown i go to the golems as they do far to much damage :)

I like the new jungle changes personally as it promotes 2 things that i like to happen at the start of the game; Counter-jungling and early warding!

At the start of the game i usually buy as fast as possible and then go stand at one of the jungle entrances while asking the support to drop a ward at the entrances so that at least we're aware of an early invade.

Alternatively i've been starting at the red buff a lot recently as i find that 90% of junglers will get a strong leash at their blue buff then come and counter jungle your red buff. Starting here means that they've just wasted their time coming into your jungle to steal something that isn't even there and also means that after you've gone up to do your blue you can then take a trip over to their jungle to see if you can catch them out. This tactic is especially good if you're on blue side as you can then be at top lane with double buffs and a level 3 gank to try and snowball them (because **** bot lane, there's usually a plethora of wards spread out like a minefield down there these days that makes ganking there an exercise in futility)

Yeah i've been doing the same, starting red -> blue -> enemy red.
Works well with Nunu with the explorer ward if you can sneak into the enemy red and drop it first so you can see if its still up - saves time walking over to find it gone.

Im really against the amount of counter jungling that goes on because team mates are muppets :( saps the enjoyment out of the game completely.
Ive been shunning jungle lately because I just dont find it enjoyable at all to spend 4+ wards on my jungle and still watch their enemy jungler walk around inside while my team do nothing.
Still, my mid and top play is coming along nicely.

The jungle is nunu heaven at the moment.as said if he can get a ward down he can counter so hard.he can run up to them at buff consume and smite and run off laughing clear his own jungle then back into enemies for round 2 for some mor pillaging.

The jungle changes don't really increase the amount of counter-jungling in my opinion since it only stops the smaller camps spawning first and also makes red&blue more worth it due to the gold and xp increase.

I suppose it makes red/blue steals more worth it, but the same level of danger is still there when counter-jungling as there was before and it will set the other jungler further behind if you pull it off.

To be honest, the route I always take is Blue > Red > Gank simply because you will hit level 3 and be ganking a lane just as they all hit level 2.
The reason I go for blue first is because it allows blue to respawn faster for the mid champion to give them that extra edge and red is more important for the majority of junglers since the slow/cc is what makes the ganks so much more potant.

Also, skipping the small camps is a good idea because youll gank faster and if the enemy tries to invade your red you will be there just before they are to check out the bush and set up a counter to their invade.

Counter-jungling is just part of being a good jungler. You shouldn't expect help from your lanes the same way you're not expected to fend of ganks for them. You can always ping and some of the time the lanes will see it as a free kill and come help but really it's up to you to duel the jungler if you can. The only time I find it frustrating is when the lanes are invading and you're getting no help but to be honest this is rare.

What junglers do you play? You might just be playing junglers who are vulnerable to counter-jungling. I mean every time I see an Amumu I make damn sure I invade because he's useless at dueling early on.
