***NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 760 NOW AVAILABLE!!!****

Why not?
So it wouldnt be worth upgrading from a 7870 to the 760 but it would b worth it for a 7950?
Dont see the logic in your answer.

Hold on a minute that wasn't the question. He never mentioned anything about a 7950. He asked if it was worth upgrading from a 7870 to a 760. The 760 is faster (about 10% give or take which = a couple of fps typically) but i wouldn't consider it a worthy upgrade imo not for an extra couple of fps. Its not faster in every game either, and this is an overclocked version of the 760. ;)

I'm looking for a short graphics card to upgrade from my hd7850.

I've been eyeing up the Asus GTX760 DirectCu and the Asus GTX670 DirectCu Mini. Thing is, the GTX670 is almost £100 more expensive.

I believe from reviews that the GTX670 is about 5-10% faster than the GTX760, but it's not worth the extra right?

Just asking for a bit of a reality check here, really.

Assuming your card is overclocked, I doubt that a 760 would be that much of an upgrade over a 7850.

With the GTX670 mini your paying a premium for the smallness, if your considering a larger GTX760 then you obviously don't really need that smallness, why not just get a normal GTX670? cheaper than the mini and will be worth the extra over a GTX760.

It won't fit my case. :o

I get 236mm, or roughly 9.25" to play with. Hence looking at the GTX670 Mini/GTX760 rather than something like an HD7950/GTX770.

The cheapest 670's I seen were the little 2 fan gigabyte ones I seen them go for as little as £250.

Not sure if there small enough but they look tiny to me. (length is 265mm according to one site)

GTX 760 Twin FrozR ordered. Sadly when I called OCUK at 4:30pm they couldn't get it to me for tomorrow so I had to go elsewhere.

Shou;d give me a decent boost from my GTX 460 1GB.

MSI 760 OC De boxing

the BF3 test, very fast FPS very smooth.

GPU temperature under load max 42 degrees. However not 100% usage, max 75% or so. very quiet, less noise than the new AC 7 pro I just installed:/
