Gigabyte and MSI are in stock now, they also offer the fastest cards out of the box with 1150MHz Boost clocks! :D

Asus, KFA2 and other models arrive later today/tomorrow. :)

EVGA have had to recall their first UK shipment of SC ACX cards, so we won't be selling those for a week or so.

Nice looking cards, ideal upgrade for those coming from GTX 460 / 560 cards.

It's a whole price bracket up tho :p

GTX460 was £200 and quickly fell to £150 (and even dipped below that, IIRC).

These will not drop in price as we've seen very few cards get cheaper in the last year or two.

How is that?
the GTX 760 is slower than the 7950, 1gb less memory and around the same price.

Because Anandtech says so.

With that said, like any good refresh the presence of the 700 series and the retirement of the 600 series looks to shake up the market, and once more AMD is going to be on the receiving end here. Rather unlike the GTX 770 versus the 7970 GHz Edition, the GTX 760 is not tied with any AMD product. At 1080p it is clearly ahead of both the stock and boost versions of the 7950, by 13% and 8% respectively. This is by no means a commanding lead and AMD still offers better performance in some cases, but on average the GTX 760 is faster, quieter, and $30-$50 cheaper than AMD’s closest competitor.

Two of these in SLI will rock, beating the 780 for £400.

doesn't look like it, AMD are busy releasing press releases telling everyone why they should buy their cards with 3GB of VRAM instead, which probably means they either can't or won't drop prices in the meantime

vram chips cost more hihihi

TBH this is Nvidias best launch for a while Excellent price I'm impressed. If you need more than 2Gb of VRAM you need more than one 760...... I've been disillusioned myself by nvidias strategy but there is hope.

still 2 760's in sli would be sweet for £400 Would like to see a comparison between a 680 and 2 760's on battlefield.

Because Anandtech says so.
What Anandtech addressing was strictly out of the box comparison, not clock for clock comparison though. The 760 is much more aggressively clocked comparing to the 7950 (800MHz), let alone the 7950 Boost (850MHz, boost 950MHz). The reference 760 has a stock clock of 980MHz and boost clock of 1033MHz, and other manufacturers' 760 has a stock clock of 1006MHz~1085MHz and boost clock of 1150MHz...comparing to the 7950 boost with a stock clock of 850MHz and boost clock on 950MHz.

With an average of 130~235MHz higher stock clock and 83~200MHz boost clock, can we honestly say the 760 is "faster", especially considering we all overclock our graphic cards, and both the 760 and 7950 would hit roughly the same max overclock (1150~1200MHz)?

That's like Custom PC saying the GTX650Ti Boost 2GB beating the 7850 (basing on out of the box performance), and completely disregarding the potential from overclocking.

Reviews mostly can only compare performance between cards based on factory settings, but I'm pretty sure we are only really interested in the performance comparison between the 1150/1200MHz clocked 760 vs 7950, rather than of the two cards with a 83~235MHz clock gap.

for the vast majority of "joe public", they are going to look at the reviews and choose the card that looks "faster" and "cheaper"
this is a solid release from nvidia, aimed at "the market" and not at overclockers specifically

you can't really criticise Nvidia for the fact that AMD seem to have been so conservative with their stock clocks
