Terminator: New Trilogy Of Films Set For 2015

The minute someone decided to slap a 15 certificate on the franchise (or, in fact, any 80/90's sci-fi franchise) is the minute it all came crashing down imo.

So it all fell apart with Terminator 2 then?

As said Arnie is the Terminator.

The first film is still the best and the second was enjoyable as well.

They had the right mix of 80's popcorn action and grit plus the the sound track was inspired.

Having just watched Total Recall my hopes are not high :(

So apparently Skynet is now producing Terminators so old they can get a pension?

He's gonna have to have a ****load of makeup on or some kind of latex prosthetic or its gonna look utterly laughable.

You seem to forget, Terminators are not human. Only the flesh will look old. If Arnie can get in some kind of shape the way Stallone has recently, I don't have a problem with Arnie playing an older looking Terminator, if indeed that will be his role and not a human. I'm more concerned with the film itself being good, than whether or not Arnie can cut it playing a machine with older looking skin. Doubtful this will be any good though, just another cash grab pointless reboot/remake.

*sigh* All I wanted was a Terminator movie set in the future that was like the first few minutes of Terminator 2. Lots and lots of HK death machines raining down hot plasma on the human rebels. Lots of battle scenes. Maybe some early stuff on how John Connor helped liberate human extermination camps and formed the resistance.

Instead we got Terminator Salvation, which was utter garbage!!! I dont hold out any hope for any future movies to deliver my dream...

I don't forget they're not human at all, its just a well past his prime Arnie reprising a role that last time he was in it looked well past his prime, so 12 years later obviously isn't going to do him any favours.

I would have preferred a continuation to Salvation to see the actual war that the flashbacks were all about, Salvation was basically the start of that but now its a reboot and going to be even longer to see it get that that point, if it ever does :(

I don't care if Arnie is in this, so long as they don't butcher the endoskeleton.
