I'd like your opinions on the spec below for my new gaming pc?would it run games at the highest setting?how long would I get out of it?

Not a big fan of that case, I think it is a bit dated, so have swapped it for the NZXT 410. Also an i5 is good enough for gaming. Changed the Gpu for a 7950 and included an ssd. Unless you will be playing or burning a lot of Blu Ray discs, it`s a waste of money. Could`nt fit a cooler in the budget. But, if you are not likely to go xfire/sli in the future you could save some money by down sizing the mobo and Psu.

If you are doing any video editing or rendering, then I would say yes. But for gaming and every day use, an i5 is more than enough.
