anyone playing this ?

everyone is project cars this or grid 2 at moment when the best game in racing is richard burns 2013 :D

for people who want to try it you need the original game and then dl in order from here http://www.nogripracing.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1699746

it is truly shocking at how poor racing games are compared to a free mod based on a 10 years old game !

you really need a wheel for this but it is worth it ;)

if anyones playing this thinking of doing some time trials weekly or something.

I've never tried RBR but I hear it is very good and very hard too. Seems the modding install is huge and can be a pita though.

I'm a big rally and simracing fan so no idea why I haven't got this yet, I'l have to hunt for a copy on ebay I suppose.

the original was brutal! mechanics were so spot on it actually detracted from the enjoyment, unless you were a complete petrolhead

this is true but with the mod it is quite amazing.

was driving the lancia intergrale yesterday and i actually think its quite possibly the best physics whole package i have ever played

richard burns game can be had for about 5 quid the mod is free. nothing is close . if you have a wheel its a must buy.

nice scoobie video here

I tried the 2013 mod a while ago and preferred the original. Its a good game, I've finally started getting the hang of it after playing it for a while.

That looks so much fun.

RBR with a wheel and pedals can be one of the most intense experiences, especially if you're playing an online rally. You push, but you know that one small mistake can take you into a tree or over the side of a mountain. It's you against the stage, and I remember finishing some stages sweating so much.

You need a decent setup and to have some knowledge of the stage, but it's one of the most rewarding experiences.

That three screen setup is the dog nads. Amazing.

tell me about it determined to get one of best times on the first stage on england track but one millisec of lapse of concentration its over :D.

did this last night in my pug 205 gti :D

such a sneaky track a millisec of not concentration and its over.

Was digging through a cupboard yesterday and found my old boxed copies of rbr and gp4....then today read about these mods!must be fate having just built a new pc,have no wheel now so less Xbox pad was able to at least make it playable I'd not be looking at buying a wheel really.
