I have one of these monitors.

I have a strange issue of some colours appearing slightly darker towards the top of the screen, and lighter to the bottom.

Also some very pale blues look white at the bottom and sky blue near the top. Is this normal?

Thanks.

I have this monitor and I don't have those issue. I would RMA it.

Here is a photo.

Look at the background colours in both the red and blue circles. The top colour values are the same as the bottom colours, yet look more washed out.

Never noticed it before but I seem to get this a little too. I think it is your eye position. Every part of the screen you look down at seems lighter, and every part of the screen you look up at seems darker. Could adjust the height a little or the tilt, but the back light bleeds in at the bottom too so that might be making a difference.

Mine doesn't seem as extreme as yours though.

Lets face it, these screen are great at very fast gaming, also in 3D, not so great regarding image quality. Not sure if this is just down to it being a TN panel.

I did notice a little colour difference when I looked up and down, but it was very slight. Left and right was fine. I think it's just the monitor it's self. I'm about 45cm to 50cm away from my screen and it looks good to me. A little colour wash is normal. Well at least in my experience. Yours does look a little more washed out then mine though and that pic is straight on your screen. When I look straight at mine it's perfect.

I'll be honest, its only when I look at certain websites, ie; white with light/pale colours next to white.

Never really noticed it with gaming.

My eye condition doesn't help :( I usually sit closer to the screen than most regular people. Thats why I got a 27".

I just got this monitor the other day and having same kinder of problems as well ,For white text seems to have a blue tint about it even when say rebooting PC and watching the text booting in dos all looks more blue and not white like it should look ? Not normal right ?

All so in windows browsing the net when looking at the scroll bar on the right that as Blue tint all so . Nothing i do will help it .. I tried all the perset's on the menu all so play round with the settings lowering and making the brightness and contrast higher and nothing helps in fact makes it look worst than it is . Even hanged colour temps on menu nothing fixs it ..But when in game the monitor is great but some shadows on some game can be REALLY DARK to dark in fact ..

Any setting or tips how to sort this please ?

switch lightboost on that was great, I sold mine as I was just too lazy to set it up correctly, I shouldve kept it but gone back to a 60hz iiyama. The monitor was great for gaming but for desktop work I think people do have issues.

I managed to get the colours more even.

I had to play with lowering the contrast to around 85 and then lowering the red and green values a little.
