I am going for PS4 ..... My pc is strong enough to pull any game for at lest 1 year on ultra.
PS4 costs less than ****ing graphic card. And will last 5+ years and have exclusives i cant play on pc....

Your pc will always be miles better than a ps4 why would you want to downgrade?

From what I read most ps4 games are going to be run at 30fps

one reason people buy apple isnt for price/performance.
you sell what people will pay for it.
Lot of gamers do that and high end cards are for such market, the majority of gamers have 3 year old machines with a 460/5850 or such.

I had tremendous value of my one year card that can be beat only by paying triple the amount and still wont be noticeable when I game so why buy then?

Who remembers hours before the 6970 release when many were mislead into believing that it was going to be a Fermi eating monster? Truth is it turned out to be all hype and speculation.

Regarding the 9000 series, we will not know until we know, and we will only know after hardware actually exists and has been independently tested and verified.

I remember that very well

But unlike the GTX580 vs 5870 back then, the GTX780 ain't that hugely faster than the 7970...

But yea you are right...the odds is that AMD's new card would be cheaper than the GTX780, but also slower may be...

Exactly why you shouldn't believe the BS that routinely does the rounds before a card gets released. 6970 was still a good card regardless

Okay, I'm not sure whether to wait for this new Radeon series or get a GTX760. Will AMD GPUs have any significant advantage over nVidia for upcoming next-gen titles?

Hard to say at this point, its a fallacy to assume just because games will be optimised for GCN and the Jaguar cores on the console that it will necessarily result in significant advantages when a game is rebuilt for the PC.

If you actually need a new GPU buy now otherwise if your in no hurry theres no harm waiting.

Wasnt the BF4 single player video running on a 7990?

Ive just gone and got myself CF 7970GHZ to run BF4 and now they release this!! They said no plans outgrow the 7000 series for 2013 :rolleyes:
