Now that rockstar have more or less stated no pc GTA 5

Now that Rockstar have said there will be no pc version of gta v released any time soon do you think this will be history repeating itself once again ?

What i mean by that is this will open the door for many other games to be "delayed" on pc due to piracy reasons or simply no pc version of good games that are coming ?

I hate to be cynical but I have a nasty feeling that the best games for the life cycle of the ps4 and xbox one wont be on pc or will be delayed once again for the next 8-10 years or so.

For example I have heard it all before I remember some big games written in stone for a pc release, then at the last minute they say pc version delayed blah blah do you think this will happen with watch dogs for example ? near release it wouldn't shock me to hear pc version is out next year.

I wouldn't buy a console just for a GTA game.
Since VC/SA they haven't been that good

I suspect that we will see both PC and Next-Gen Consoles versions of GTA V out sometime in the new year.

not bothered - rockstar couldn't do a decent PC port if their life depended on it.

Lol **** em, if they wanna miss out on a ton of money then that's their fault. I have a feeling piracy rates for any of the games they bring out on PC from this point on are going to skyrocket, and that's well deserved.

Where did they say that? I'm pretty sure that they said they don't have anything to talk about regarding a PC version just yet.

Well deserved because they're focusing their efforts on a console release before PC? Rockstar make some of the best games, go away.

If they don't bother bringing it out on PC like RDR then yes. Rockstar make some of the worst PC ports, go away.

to be fair, the OP has purposely worded the title to make people think the next GTA has been canned on PC, surely that's a post count reset and sending to the sin bin ?

I doubt GTA 5 will be released on PC because of how its being released, first for current gen consoles, and then eventually released on PS4/XBONE?

Actually i dont even know if its confirmed for next gen consoles, but if it is, i really doubt it will ever get released on PC.

Meh, personally I think the GTA series got stale a LOOOONG time ago. No half assed sluggish pc port like the last time? Honestly surprised many care.

I am not bothered about gtav I am bothered about other games following suit for example watch dogs being out a year or two later on pc

Watchdogs is going to release for PC on November 22, 2013 alongside PS3, Xbox 360 and the JokeU.

Saint's Row and Sleeping Dogs are the games to play these days GTA has missed the boat when it comes to this sort of game on a PC now. I mean serious Sleeping Dogs is a console port - but it's done right for a change.
