Alpenföhn K2 Replacement Fans

I'm looking to replace the stock fans on my K2 and was advised that this would be a good replacement:

YOUR BASKET
1 x Thermalright TY-147 140mm Case Fan - 120mm Mount - Silent £5.99
Total : £8.96 (includes shipping : £2.48).

Is that still the case?
What alternatives would be recommended?

A scythe GT also produced the same results at matching speeds.

What's wrong with the original ones? Never found them to be any bother, good fans and pretty silent too!

Nothing wrong with them at all mate.

It's just that I found one TY-140 @1000rpm matched the performance of two wingboost 120mm fans running at around 1200rpm+ iirc (it has been a while

).

Using a single wingboost at 1000rpm, the TY-140 was 5c better and still beat it when the wingboost was maxed and therefore louder.

At full speed theyre audible, but i found them quieter than the similair speed akasa vipers. The piranhas have much better static pressure too. Tbh though, the stock fans arent too bad. Only reason i changed was because with an ib cpu i need all the cooling performance i can get.

I doubt if even delta fans could cope with the heat that this current cpu of mine chucks out.

Nothing, but I think the heat dispersion would be be better with some top quality fans.

I'm also a sucker for simplicity and symmetry.
