OcUK provides far more discussion of religion than all the public broadcasters put together, so Ch4 adding a handy alarm clock for Muslims isn't really doing their bit IMO.Surely a public broadcasters remit is to cater for everyone within its remit (i.e The Public) so as a proportion of those would be religious so they have a right to programming that caters for them and the broadcaster a duty to provide it?

Just my preference, I wasn't aware that my preferences had to be inclusive and representative?![]()
I won't watch it, but is has the advantage of stirring up the bigots but I still feel religion is outdated and anachronistic and see little point is promoting superstition. However I am fully aware that broadcasters are not there to pander to only my whims or we would have more than 6 episodes per Top Gear season!
A proportion of the public are into child porn, are you suggesting the news channels should cater for them too?![]()

In other news, the European Parliament has stripped French far right leader Marine Le Pen of her parliamentary immunity after she compared Muslims praying on the streets to the Nazi occupation of France. Food for thought.
The same channel that was vying for the age of consent to be lowered to 14.
I'm right behind them!
Yup, if 'Lolitia' is being broadcast it is normally on Channel 4I suspect that (unsuspectingly) they already do...particularly Channel 4...![]()
I think its pretty funny how they done this to rustle peoples jimmies.
As long as they cater to our religion too by showing Christmas things in December too, I'm fine with it.
