Woohoo Star Citizen finally broke $10m funding. Its around $10,650,000.

Chris Roberts originally said that he needs around $12-14m to make the game. He might not need that private investment any more

hanger module is August so 1 month away
Dog fighting alpha is December this year
Single player alpha is mid 2014

And is the cheapest way to get the game, the Digital Scout Lti at $30

And what's this life insurance stuff.

I usually go explorer,
I see pathfinder LTI

Or would basic package and another add on ship be better.

If you pledge before 6th July you will get life time ingame insurance on your ship hull you pledge for.

So for example i pledged at the bounty hunter level and get a 300i ship. That stock ship has lifetime insurance meaning no matter how many times i lose that ship i get the basic hull back for free. You can insure it in game but the perk of pledging early means i don't have to spend in game credits to do it.

Cheapest way to pledge and get alpha and beta access is for the following link which is $35 Aurora starter pack the $30 option doesnt have the alpha and beta access

If you pledge before 6th i think (?) you also get LTI for any ship you purchase before November...Though many of the currently available ships are only available until the 6th July then it's back to the basic packages. Worth doing now for the LTI and vet status imo.
