was a 14 year old boy (who hasn't been to school for the past couple of years) - he was selling coffee, someone asked him for a free cup, he said something along the lines of 'Not even if the Prophet Mohammed comes back'
Yeah, utterly tragic

If it has been badly translated can you say that it is in fact a false statement? Or that what you are refuting is true?

Yes!
If it's badly translated, then it can only represent the opinion of the translator, as they have to fill in the gaps. and possibly push an agenda. times that a few times over time and you end up with quite an abstract lol!
Well I don't know about agenda, as arranged marriages with minors still happens in Islamic countries. So what Muhammad did was certainly not out of the ordinary..If it's badly translated, then it can only represent the opinion of the translator, as they have to fill in the gaps. and possibly push an agenda. lol!
Yeah, utterly tragicNot hard to understand why people have certain reservations about Islam, when Muslim-run countries have such appalling disregard for human life; equality; justice...

Meh, this comment on the Facebook page sums up most not all views on this
To be fair, Christians are just as bad. There are a few documentaries regarding child abuse etc. they are not hard to find.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, religion has no place in society.
Until the human race 'grows up', we will continue to have these horrible problems.
I think it's very dangerous to idolise people who abuse children and allow it to spread because with it brings more child abuse. So what are you saying?

Beautifully put.One day we will all evolve to realise religion is obsolete and that we have in fact created and evolved true morality within ourselves.

Obviously religion was useful when we were making the transition from axe and sword wielding barbarians to a scientifically enlightened race. It helped us fear wrong doing and animal like tendency's. Ofcourse faith can be still important today but I do hope mainstream and "die-hard" religion will dissapear eventually.
Also, Getting up at 4am to speak to an imaginary friend in the sky.....ain't nobody got time for that.
