This does seem better than 5 but its still such a boring game to play and the noise when you hit another car is just horrid.

Will give it a miss and see what comes on PS4.

Looks pretty much like GT5. I wouldnt say that was a bad thing as GT5 was/is a great looking game.

I can tell a lot from what I've just experienced. Just finished a few races and to be honest it looks no different. Again, nothing wrong with that because GT5 is a decent looking game.

What annoys me the most about this Demo / GT Academy is that the AI is still poor.

2.25.205 is my fastest so far having a break then going to try and beat it. Really wish I had a wheel.

I started off with the gt force wheel. Should be able to pick one up for well under 100

using a pad, so dont expect a great time, no room nor enough money for a good wheel setup.

Guys having a wheel doesn't instantly make you faster but it sure is a lot more fun.

I use a Logitech driving force GT the cost about 70 quid and its decent for sub 100. But then you need a good stand to mount it on.

Oh and driving gloves.

If im looking to spend around 100 for anything decent ill juat wait and put it towards a second hand g27.

Have a sofa in my room. But thats going to make room for a wheel and seat.

I only sport the goggs when I have the T-Bar roof off.

The wheel is not usable from a sofa id say. But the feeling and exhilaration you get from 'driving' the track instead of controlling it via button presses is great. it is tiring, frustrating, etc too...

Just given this a go. The new menus are a nice change, the look and feel is much better. The poor sound and AI is still there and graphics are the same as GT5, although I expect they were getting the most from the hardware before so not much to work with. A bit hard to get used to compared to Project Cars on PC
