Iranian people in 2013!

For people wanting to visit then I would really recommend spending a week in Shemshak. Really cheap skiing and no-one goes off-piste so you have the powder to yourself.

Some beautiful women there.

I'm desperate to go to the Middle East. The history, the culture, and the beauty astound me. it upsets me greatly that a lot of their history, and in places like Afghanistan, has been wiped out by war.

Ordinary people will live together generally peacefully. It is the Govt. propaganda that turns nations against nations.
I had a similar experience when I visited Cuba before mass tourism from the UK. To my shame I went over with pre-conceived ideas and instead found the people pleasant and helpful. I returned 15 years later and if anything the tourist industry has destroyed part of the atmosphere. Ditto Yugoslavia.

I believe that there is quite a lot of oil in Iran, I expect that the Israelis could be very helpful in exploiting those reserves if only the Iranians were to welcome them in ;)

Yjust because they're heavily branded as terrorists and anti west doesn't actually mean you have to believe that is true. Its like saying England is full of football hooligans and edl members buts its not is it. Its got some normal everyday people as well......

Nobody brands the Iranian people like that. It's the regime not the people who by all accounts seem great.

Have met a few Iranians whilst in Egypt. Generally very friendly, cultured and clued in about the worlds perception of the country.

....then again why would you expect otherwise

Is there hate towards Iranians in this country? If there is I've never seen it. There maybe hatred towards Iran, but only from a select few with an agenda.

"I know this is not a chicken blog. But when you snag a sweet chicken pic, you just want to tell the world."

heh. Good photos, looks like a nice place to visit, too.
