I don't think he will play regularly, I dont see how he'll be ahead of Hazard, Oscar , Mata or Lampard. It comes across to me like a director of football signing for the future.

Assuming Rooney wants to leave, while you may not need to sell, I'm sure there are people at the club that would be encouraging you to sell him. With 2 years left on his deal, it's the last chance to get a reasonable fee for him.

True, but we're not going to harm our title chances by handing him over to Chelsea unless we get a very, very good bid. There's just nothing in it for us. He isn't like Fabregas who was only ever going one place. We have all the power.

All depends if those teams want him at the end of his 3 yr contract, if they do then fair enough...Arsenal need to capitalise on getting as much money as they possibly can for him.

But like bloodline said ill worry about it when his 3 yrs are up, lets see if he does sign and if he does lets see how many goals he will score for us.

Personally i cant see it happening, as good a player he is...hes too much of a liability imho. Always doing something stupid on the pitch as proven by his cannibalistic tendencies last season, not only that diving left, right and centre as well everytime a player gets within 10 feet of him

Dont know what is going on with the Higuain deal and why its taking so long to finalise. Im hoping that we will finalise that deal soon and if we dont then it could be that we have turned our attention to someone else.

Not sure why you wouldn't want him Yas, too much of a liability being out 8 games a year, I'd take him for the other 30 in pretty much any team.
