Hi all. i am quite a big football fan and i would like to present you this game coming out in a couple of months that could be the footy sim to play for us PC users as it will contain a brand new engine.

If you did not like the previous PES games(i liked them) then this could entice you all to give this one a go as they have revamped the whole series.

With only FIFA and PES to choose from I choose neither as both are just an updated squad list every year.

Whatever happened to Actua Soccer?

If you would have done a bit of research you would know both games are getting a new engine this year.

Sadly EA has been given a bag of money by the new consoles so FIFA 14 on pc won't have this new engine and will use the one used in fifa 13.... (makes sense right..)

PES 2014 however is using a new engine and so far it look good, have to wait till the demo comes out but it seems a lot are going back to PES. Let's hope we can go back to the glory days where PES destroyed FIFA in every way.

Sorry but did you even read my post or just the title of this thread?

If you just read my post you would know that i stated how PES is using a brand new engine.

It would have only taken less then 1 minute to find out that information before making sweeping statements like you just did.

Fox engine, and it looks more than capable of competing with FIFA this year, of course you can't say for sure until the controller is in your hands. From what I've seen though PES will be getting a lot more play time than the last few years.

This game is going to be epic, return of the proper football game, can finally ditch the awful excuse of a game that is fifa.

Also they have Masuda has said online mode will have 11v11!

Cannot wait for this game.

Yes it will have 11v11 and also in master league you can finally switch teams and manage international teams as well

Still getting FIFA, just next gen FIFA instead, a majority of PC users will likely convert however, if they're not getting the new consoles.

yup.

i can see many pc fans flocking to PES. if they get the gameplay spot on, with editing/modded PES on pc, it can actually be a better game overall then fifa next gen.

I really want to get PES. Hate that there are no real kits, badges or names for certain teams. Could easily be modded though I suppose.

What month did the demo come out in last year?

I can't remember but I think it was earlier than usual.

That is a none issue when you can mod PES.

i once had a mod on PES where it contained 100+ stadiums and fifa commentary which was surprisingly good.

Won't be bothering with either of the new consoles & EA have decided to be idiotic & just give us fifa 13 again this year with different lineup so they aren't having my money. Really hope this turns out to be good.

Question about pes14 and other version on pc. You know how you mod the kits, can you also use the kits online? Or is it offline only.
