Still nothing on the Higuain transfer, last night he was meant to be flying into London for his medical but havent heard a word since. Fingers crossed that maybe by tonight he will have signed for definite.

Moyes is supposedly dodging the questions on whether Rooney actually wants to say - he's only said that he's not for sale, the same as what Utd said at the end of last season.

In other news a few reports in Germany are claiming that Mkhitaryan's close to a move to Dortmund. Hopefully it's bs but at least I won't need to learn how to spell his name.

What's insufferable about asking whether Rooney wants to stay? Taggart told everybody last season that Rooney wants to leave - it's perfectly understandable to ask whether that's changed or not.

I would be surprised if he gets any sort of pay rise. He is already on a ridiculous salary and he isn't justifying what he is getting paid at the moment. United are in the stronger position now out of the two parties.

We could quote easily make him sit on the bench or in the reserves also, I suppose if he plays it means he is putting the effort in and we can see the benefits of that.

There's also reports that he will sign for us for 22 rising to 27 by Tuesday, strange situation. I would hope that if they have identified him as the No 1 target we would just match Dortmunds offer and not miss out due to a few million..!

Thats assuming he would rather go to Liverpool who are not in the CL over a team that nearly won it last year and will be competing again this year.

I'm sure he will up his game for the first part of the season. But what formation you going to play with to fit him in?

I didnt think him and Moyes got on so I would be surprised if he could motivate him more than fergie could.

I've never rated him that highly so he would have never been on £250k. I would have sold him when RM were shouting out £70mplus a few years back.

Where have you seen these reports? I've seen nothing of the sort. News agencies in Germany are reporting a move to Dortmund is all but done.
