Im getting married shortly and been looking at honeymoon ideas for december, now there would be two of us plus child, we have got a few nights before this without child, will be aged 3 by then.
Been looking at Disney Paris or German Christmas markets.... views? I think the kid might be bored of germany but then again can do disney during the summer one year.

only looking to go away for 3-4 days due to work...

I'd say that a 3 year old is at that age where they are slightly too young to enjoy Disney (even Disneyland Paris). They can't go on many of the attractions, they won't remember much of it in years to come, and it's probably a little on the large side to walk around, so they'll be chair bound for a lot of the time.

Depends what you want to do to be honest.
When I got married, I had 1 kid and my wife was pregnant with our 2nd, so we used the honeymoon time to take my son away, only went to Butlins but my son enjoyed the time away, we enjoyed the 'family time' away from everything, and said we would have a proper honeymoon/holiday when the kids were a bit older, but that so far hasn't happened haha.

You want to go some place that has a day-activity thing you can leave him and then you can have some you time with your wife, but still have you child on holiday with you. Hope that makes sense :)

Yea, leave the kid at home, with grandparents possibly? Have a nice romantic weekend away with each other. It will be much more desirable.

If you don't want to go abroad there's some great log cabin places over here with a hot tub, and they are so much nicer in Winter. There's one near York we go to every year or so and it gets pretty Christmassy there, plus half an hour or so from the coast.
