Advice on changes to build

Hi all,

I configured and ordered my computer last Friday and scrounged a few more pennies to spend (£75). Below is my current build, but I plan on calling up and making some changes.

Total : £665.58 (includes shipping : £15.50).

If anyone would like to suggest what changes I should make it would be highly appreciated! My thoughts were to change something like the fan or the sound as it was not an to option to change when configuring...

I would ask them to upgrade your Gpu to this one, which will cost an extra £28. For another £26, upgrade memory to 8GB. And a fan £6. Total = £60

My memory is already 8GB?

But thanks for the suggestions I'll look into the two more when I'm off my phone

Even cheaper upgrade then.

It`s just a shame you can`t upgrade the mobo to a Z77, that way you could then upgrade to an i5 when your funds allow. The only H67 mobo OCUK do, is the Foxconn.
The Gpu I specced, can be OCed to 7950 stock speeds, making it really good value.

So, that gives you a budget of £765 and this is what you can get if you build it yourself. And no need to buy an extra fan, as the case comes with 2 installed. Much better value.

Idlemans build is much better but as he ordered the pc last Friday is he able to cancel?

I missed that bit, bugger.

I suppose it depends on the delivery date. He should have posted earlier today. Best to wait on the OP now, to find out when it is actually being delivered.

Yeah I don't think I'll ever give building a PC a go myself. I'm not easily convinced and prefer the much easier way of just getting someone else to do it at my own expense... but yeah I will try the graphics card and the fan tomorrow if I can get through in time on my work break!
