Magic sets for kids, any recommendations?

My daughters 9th birthday is fast approaching and one thing she has expressed an interest in is a magic set. Having a look around there seems to be a huge number available but I have no idea which ones are deemed good or ideal for children of her age.

Any budding magicians on here (5UB maybe?) able to advise or recommend anything?

Many thanks. :)

For some reason when I saw the topic I was thinking of a magic eye. Magic eye, kids in the next room. Let alone a magicians game.

The best set for kids is definitely Marvins.

They have so many kits on their website, and it is free UK delivery if you order from them direct. :)

Depends if you want one trick, or a box of tricks, they do both. However, magic tricks are not cheap! A box set is probably best for starters, that is what I learned with when I was a kid, I had a Houdini set, but I have not seen it for sale anywhere now.

This set might be a good one for you, there is a video too showing you what is in there to learn. :)
