We really need to find a cheaper hobby.

Arrived 11 days early and none of the clothes we got him fit! Much smaller than expected at only 6lb 10oz (previous had been 8lb & 8lb 9 1/2oz, were expecting something around 9lb) so, even our "spare" stuff is way too big for him.

Was over 24 hours from start to finish (waters went, nothing for 22 hours, then 4 hours of actual labour) so they're keeping them both in for 24 hours for observation. Mother is in better condition than me! (although this could have been said at any time in the last ten years to be honest!)

Many congratulations to you all:) Hope you were at the birth, the highlight of my life was being at the birth of my Son

Congratulations! Waters going so early must have been pretty painful!

Our 2nd was much smaller as well, found myself at the 24h asda buying some vests and sleepsuits not long after!

This BBC article has great timing for you ;)

my personal favourite and something I have held onto is "No-one on their death bed ever said "I wish I spent more time in the office" - don't regret placing your children above your career".
Seriously I cannot tell you how important this is especially for us guys, too many kids grow up with dads constantly at work

At least your clothes are all too big! He'll grow into them :)

Our Charlie was nearly 11lb and never fit into his newborn stuff, and grew out of 0-3 months within two weeks!

Many congrats :D
