Hi there

OcUK has won the initial exclusive on MSI's new amazing chassis, which is actually thinner and lighter than Razer's Blade laptop. I used one of these at Computex and it was mind blowing, a real competitor to the Blade.

We have stock arriving next month and you can pre-order now:-

MSI GS70 2OD-STEALTH 17.3" True HD LED, Intel i7-4700HQ, 16GB DDR3, 2x 128GB SSD & 750GB HDD, NVIDIA GTX 765M 2GB - Windows 8 @ £1,699.99 inc VAT

The MSI GS70 Stealth is the company's thinnest gaming laptop yet. At a mere 2.2cm (22mm) thick and weighing less than 2.6kg, the all-black laptop comes dangerously close to Ultrabook territory, but still manages to squeeze in a 17inch Full HD display and NVIDIA dedicated graphics.

Hot on the heels of Razer's refreshed Blade laptops, the GS70 Stealth is constructed from aluminium and feels absolutely amazing quality wise with zero flex or give in the chassis.

Powered by Intel 4th generation Haswell processors along with 16GB of Dual Channel DDR3 RAM, but most impressive is the onboard NVIDIA GTX 765M 2GB GDDR5 graphics which can power through the latest games such as Tomb Raider and Crysis 3.

Even though the GS70 Stealth is considerably lighter in weight compared to the other MSI GX70 gaming models, it is still feature packed including multi-colour backlit keyboard developed by Steelseries, KillerNIC gaming-grade network card and the Super RADI dual SSD storage configuration.

Even with the GS70's ultra slim proportions you still get four USB ports, Ethernet, audio jacks, card reader, HDMI port and two Mini-Display ports. You can use the three graphic outputs at once if you have three monitors for NVIDIA Surround Gaming on the GTX 765M.

Considering the MSI GS70 Stealth is thinner and lighter than the Razer Blade along with a better specification, whats even better it cost less and is available here in the UK with MSI's amazing warranty support.

Get a true style icon with immense build quality today with the MSI Stealth which is arriving with Overclockers UK before any competitor by at least a month!!!

The designs, and gaming ability of the new laptops have really come a long way recently, with a GTX 765M backed by Haswell processor this is some machine and looks absolutely amazing. :D :D :D

Very beautiful, gibbo! That looks pretty awesome.

I have a quick question. Will you guys also be getting the MSI GT60 3K Edition? There are a few Google articles about it here for anyone who hasn't heard about it yet. Basically, it's a laptop with a 2,880 x 1,620 resolution screen, almost on a par with Apple's retina display.

Yes. :D

Excellent, this is the one I've been waiting for since it was announced last month! Gibbo - how likely is this time frame... I'm emigrating to Oz in Sept (leaving 3rd) and really want this before I go... odds?

Also, is any of the spec changeable... like the OS and RAM? :D

Just to add to this, I also have a question along the same lines.

I will be visiting the US for about 2 months (hopefully) sometime in the near future. Do you also provide charging adaptors that can also be used in different countries? (ie, a 2 pin adaptor for the US since they have different plugs, while in Britain we have 3 pin plugs). Thanks!

Buy your own...spend 1600 on laptop, can't pop into town to buy travel adapter. The mind boogles.

Am I asking for a freebie?

I'm asking if Overclockers also sells international adaptors. I would just as easily rather buy from here.

:p They even sell them in the... gasp... airport

Easy tiger, don't get so excited with your observational skills!

I'd rather have something that's guaranteed to work with a laptop sold through Overclockers, rather than some dodgy import or fake from China that might end up blowing up.

I was going to go with one of the top of the line Clevo Models next month but 2880x1620 :cool:
Makes you wonder why they aren't all in on higher res displays, well I'll be waiting for that MSI laptop launch then.

Yeah, it's a pretty amazing looking machine! I do believe that Anandtech got hold of a machine and they weren't too impressed because with it just yet, so i'm hoping that MSi will still tweak and optimise it to it's maximum capabilities.

Personally, I'm feeling very conflicted over what laptop to buy next because there are 4 awesome ones coming out. There's the MSi 3K edition, then there's the one in this thread, and also 2 of OcUK's ones (the slim one and the version with SLI 780m's). So many great machines soon to be released!

Will the MSI 3K edition support SLI by any chance ?

From what i've read so far, it only supports a single 4Gb GDDR5 GTX780M card.

I do hope they'll offer a SLI model though, especially if it becomes their flagship model.

Disappointing, understandable though I suppose, it should run most games I'll want to throw at it though with the native resolution, hopefully not as stupidly expensive as it could be then if it doesn't support SLI.

Shame they go to the effort of making a "stealth" gaming laptop then plonk a red logo right in the middle of the otherwise lovely lid
