Just a quick one to know where we stand, we have some Bees nesting up in/hoering the eves of our house, where there is a slight gap that can lead into the loft.
As far as I am aware from the look of them they are Bumblebees, not Honey Bees, therefore what i understand is that we have no legal way to be able to get rid of them, I know they are generally docile and don't want to go for you/interact with you unless you come swinging at them with fire or make them feel generally unsafe, from what i have read they will nest for 4-6 weeks and then disperse mid to late August, and if you have them removed you (I have read) can face a large fine.
Could someone clarify this if they have had this please, as the neighbours are away and their daughter is coming round and standing out the front whining about it, when there is really nothing we can legally do, and I just want to check a few more avenues before I tell her once and for all, to deal with it!
Thanks!
