I'm in the market for a new graphics card and was thinking that the GeForce GTX 660 Twin Frozr III 2Gb is the one for me, (it has a GTX 260 in now, but used to have 2 9800GX2's), would it be too much for my system? Please understand that this is the only upgrade I can afford so although I appreciate any recommendations on upgrading the rest of my system it ain't gonna happen.;)

1250 PSU? That's mental...way too big lol :p

I run a 570 with a q9550 @ 3.8 and I don't really notice any issues with the CPU so 660 should be fine too

I was looking at the Ti's not the standard 660 Yea, they are slightly more.

But yea I think 660 would be good, But i'm sure someone will be along with an AMD alternative.

If you could overclock your CPU to around 3.6-4 GHZ, the 660 will be utilized to a greater extent, rather than being bottlenecked in many situations.

It's a cooler master 80 plus Real Power Pro 1250W.

Im surprised no one has asked the OP what make and model their "1250w" PSU is.

Good point, although he does state in his OP that he used to have 2x 9800GX2s. Therefore I'm reckoning it's a half decent unit :)
