Being a Norwich fan in the transfer window has never been so exciting. Certainly a far cry from 4 years ago when a £400k signing in Holt required fans to chip in!

Rumours flying around about Alderweireld, Fer, and Quagliarella. Van Wolfswinkel, Redmond and Olsson already sorted.

He cant hear you, hes in the Far east on our pre-season tour:p

Absolutely nothing regarding Arsenal and any transfer activity. Although i did read on skysports that it looks like we may be in for Ashley Williams of Swansea due to Verm's on going back problem. But absolutely nada on Higuain, which makes me think that the deal is most probably off :/

Are u surprised? It's been like this for a long time. 3 years ago i heard Wenger having up to £50 million to spend and nothing came of it. It's the same story with Arsenal he will probably buy some cheap young players and say they can fight for the title.

I'm sure he said he wanted to get the players in before the tour :(. So depressing...

Of course its depressing:(, so far we have signed a young unknown kid from France as per usual...not like he is going to get a starting position and help us win a few trophies.

Seems like our board along with Wenger are as clueless as they ever been, i dont think they know where to start with our supposed £70mill warchest:p.

LOL tbh not really, this is why i think we need David Dein back because since he left we have been utterly atrocious in the transfer market. Or if not Dein then someone who bloody knows what to do in the transfer market.

And yes i do remember a couple of yrs ago, Wenger was saying that if there was a £30mill player he wanted...he could get him etc and nothing ever came of it...in fact i think it was around the time we bought Gervinho :/.

Him and Isco are the next big things but that's mega money. Not sure why they're abandoning buying for up front though?

Probably because they have Benzema and Higuain upfront. Also with Ronaldo scoring the bulk of their goals, i think they are pretty much thinking we dont need a new striker/forward yet.

Manchester City's Jeremy Helan joins Sheffield Wednesday.

BBC Link.

Yaaay! A 'proper' signing :), had some very good games / performances for us last season.

oh, another midfielder? :p

That's about 150 moved since we needed one. Surely all the top level clubs must have enough for 3 midfield parings each now? Can we have some scraps?

David Moyes on transfers: "There are targets we're chasing. At this moment in time we're happy with how things are going."

The manager was then asked about Barcelona's Thiago who has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford. He had this to say: "I never said he was a target."

Oh come people you weren't really expecting 'Yeah we want x,y,z' etc were you?

Of course he's going to play coy and neither confirm nor deny.

Looks like another Arsenal target wont be ours :(. Looking very likely that Cesar of QPR is off to Napoli. Would have liked to see him at Arsenal as he is a very good goalkeeper, would have given Chessers and Fab some real competiton and last but not least...he is a steal at £1mill so its being reported. Wouldnt have costed us the earth in wages either but even then hes bloody good so i wouldnt have minded us giving him £80k a week, which is what he was supposedly on at QPR.

Arsenal dragging their heels on potential targets, i know we are being linked with Suarez but the chances of him coming to us is virtually nil as Liverpool dont want to sell him. Knowing how we operate in the transfer window, we will concentrate on trying to get Suarez for most of the transfer window...until the last minute where we will be told he is not for sale then we have no time to sign anyone other than our usual panic buying which Arsenal are renowned for and end up with players, who other teams will be more than glad to give us for stupid transfer fees and then promptly pay them £60k a week.
