Im going to be a dad!!

Congrats. It's a life changer, for sure. But becoming a parent is absolutely the best thing that will ever happen to you. Our little lad is 2 and a half and every day with him is awesome.

Enjoy. The first few months are a killer but it's all about adjusting to change.

oh rather you than me! :p

congrats

the comments about not being married? this isnt the 1800s you know!

I should also say my standard new dad advice - if you get a little comforter for them - buy two ... you'll know why when their best comforter is covered in godknows what and they won't settle with nothing else.

Brilliant, congratulations. Expensive beasts, but one of, if not the most exciting things you (and your other half will ever do) - we had two kids before we got round to getting married - but had been together 11 years, wouldn't worry about the order of doing things, you'll have plenty to keep you occupied!!

This tbh. Our son has a fluffy dog he takes to bed, but it can't be tumble dried. Whenever it needs washing, we bring out the spare fluffy dog and he has that for a few days instead :D

You've only been together 3 years & she's up the duff - I give it 6 moths after its born & you'll go your separate ways.

Is that so, well I very much doubt it. We have know each other 6 years, being together 3, have our own home and business, to be honest, you aspect of the near future isbwrong my friend... Go back to reading or something.

As a recent Dad myself (Mine is just over 6 months) it's a really fun time.

Your priorities will change, you will hanker for the freedom of before, but it soon goes away when you spend time with the little one :)

The first few weeks will be the toughest though, man up through those and support your lady as much as you can. She will probably be an emotional wreck (wether she shows it or not!) I took 4 weeks off at the start to try and share the load as much as possible. Its very hard physically and emotionally but you will get through it and the bond of all three of you will be very strong!

Lol, I'm not looking forward to the mood swings, but I will be there for her and baby too as much as I can, and can not wait untill he\she is here!
