Steam sales budget

as others have said no need to budget just don't go crazy if I see a game like a fps I have been thinking about buying if its only a few pound its a buy anymore its a no.
I have been liking the look of deadpool but we wont see that down that low yet :P

In all seriousness I do on occasion wonder whether I would be better off just paying full price for games I really want rather than stocking up on 'bargains' the majority of which I'll never play.
So in other words if I spend say £300/year on games maybe I'd be better off buying 12 games for £25 each than 60 games for a fiver each.
It's an issue not just related to games, I seem to be more concerned with getting good value and maybe missing out on something that would make me really happy.
On the plus side I never run out of money, but it means I sample less of the high life compared to people who are living it large and just buying everything they want rather than something almost as good for a lot less cash.

No games out I want actually, but had it come a few weeks earlier I'd have saved some £££'s.

:(

Can't believe X-Com was 75% off!, some great deals (on games I paid full price for!)

Nothing this time still not finished the last lot and GTA5 and Rome 2 are on the horizon coming in fast.
Rome 2, Star Citizen, X4 (soonish) are the only things I'm waiting for tbh.

XCOM got discounted really quickly, I got it for free with a Bioshock Infinite preorder and it's been in a few other sales.

Didn't notice as I pre-ordered!.

But some great games at real discounts, just a shame I've got em all already! (owch, 160+ steam games).

i've got so many games still to play... but i can't stop myself. Feels almost like the south park episode 'Something Wall-Mart This Way Comes'... can't resist the bargains.
