Udyr/Thresh/Draven/Teemo/Kennen vs Nasus/Ashe/Sona/Katarina/miss fortune


Teemo top, Kennen mid, and Draven, all had a poor start. I played the Jungle as it was the only role left, and get called every name under the sun that I am not helping the team gank, this was around lvl 3 and 4. I just said stay back and farm - play safe. And that I am building a wrecking machine for late game where no one will escape. We will win! Nobody took playing safe on board and kept feeding. By lvl 10/11, Katarina was lvl 15 and it looked like an easy victory for them. She just destroyed everyone including me. Not long after Draven decides to quit as it is all my fault.

Come late game we somehow manage to hold it together. They split up and we got a few kills here and there. My Ud has built up Thornmail, Sunfire Cape, Wit's End, Spirit of the Ancient Golem, Yellow speed boots by the end, and on the way to getting Iceborn Gauntlet for the ultimate in not letting anyone get away from me. Boots and E = <3.

We ended up winning in the end, 4v5, they surrendered. Draven even came back after 15mins and I told him to do one, we don't need quitters. We were dominating without him come 40+min. A long game where team spirit won in the end. I was doing the tanking and catching, teemo pretty much did the finishing off. With my stun/boots and Thresh's hook no one could get away. Nasus just got destroyed too.

Next timeI want to try and get Blade of the Ruined king in this build somehow. I was taking on 3v1 so the extra sustain would help a lot.

The next game I took Malphite and had a lot of fun too. Bring on the weekend for more mayhem.

With respect, I disagree with you both above. I dont see how it ruins the fun for everyone else on the team any more then losing the game because two players consistently feed without taking the advice given to them and then start to blame everyone else?

Because we're trying to win the game. If bot lane has decided to ignore your advice and feed you either go and gank their lane to try and get them back in the game or just accept that they're going to feed. If you start an argument with them the only possible outcomes are all negative and involve them feeding more or going AFK.

To be blunt, you don't have any choice but to change your attitude anyway unless you want to be suspended / banned. Ignoring advice and feeding because you're a bad player isn't a reportable offence. Flaming someone for being bad is. League is full of people who will rage at you for no reason or blame you for something that isn't your fault. The only way to "beat" them is to just be the bigger man and not rise to it.
 
I'v been playing online games for around 15 years now and i have to say League of Legends has the worse community in any game by a long long way, the ammount of raging and insulting in every game is just staggering, i really think this game brings the worst out in people.

Dont get me wrong i really like this game and enjoy playing with my friends, but if it isnt your own team raging about something, its the other team trolling you constantly, i finally turned off global chat now as its just the troll chat anyway.

my friend that i play with gets so frustrated with some players when they just join and instantly say bot and lock in, when we are in a premade, and then they wont change lanes, it's even worse when i go mid and then they just feed and then go afk. Im generally a lot more relaxed and dont let things get to me, so dont tend to read the chat too much, but i have been reported a number of times now for harrasment when i didnt even type one thing in the chat the whole game.

Lolking Score is no where near accurate, all it shows is a set number depending on your division/LP in that division.

How can you disagree with them? Flaming back is just creating a tense atmosphere for the rest of the team and no one wants to have that atmosphere.

All I see from you is whining and crying about how bad your team is, maybe if you changed your attitude and just focused on your own play then the game would be more enjoyable, until you can just focus on your own play and ignore how your team mates are doing you won't improve/enjoy the game.

Well it's the most played game in the world, it's free and the learning curve isn't too high so everyone aged from 12+ can and does play the game. I used to get so annoyed by others in game, now i just roll with it and ignore the flamers/troll the haters.

Try dota 2, it's way worse

In my 50 or so games of dota 2, I encountered more flaming than in 500 games of LoL. I'm not even exaggerating. I rarely see full on insults in LoL, but Dota 2 is just ridiculous.
 
Not been in here for a whilst........HI! Just thought i'd pop in and say i tret myself to chogaths battlecast skin today after getting the all clear after a vasectomy (yea wow to much info? man it up lol) its funkin awsome! Will be playing him a lot more now :D
 
Well so far so good this week. (had a week off work)

Finally after along slog and some superb team work I've won as many as I've lost in ranked. 159 won of 318 played.

taken me 3 weeks and 40 games I think top claw it back from 12 losses more than wins.


My friend in gold 3 has been using my smurf these past few days to duoq with me I normally ADC so supporting him as adc has been very handy he explains a lot and usually encourages me Quite odd taking encouragement and advice from someone 10 years your junior but it's all welcome as it's made the whole experience more enjoyable Something i was getting a bit disillusioned with.

I would say it's helped as my smurf is in silver 3 it's meant I've played on my silver 5 main with a lot less bronze 4 and with a lot more silver 1 and 2. Which is kind of the boost I've needed. The players are still just as toxic and games are thrown so easily. But on the whole i've found it more fun. Even when losing games which we've utterly destroyed the lane in.

I have got into the habit of muting people straight away if they appear even slightly negative. just ping and type if i see something. otherwise say nothing ^^ If you can't read it you don't have to answer it. Like being told to rush bulwark when the whole enemy team is AD..... Some people don't ever think about varying their builds at all. They just build what the guide tells them.


In conclusion after supporting my mates Vayne for a few days Vayne is so broken. You don't even have to win early game Vayne/leona is about as ruthless a lane as you can have. Especially if you ban Caitlyn and thresh.
 
Patch 3.9 has completely screwed up my client, constant disconnects from PVP.net, in champion select it messes up, it takes atleast 30 seconds to register anything on my client, also, when the game starts to launch it freezes and then i have to close the game, re open it and reconnect just to get in, its completely fine in game. Also, been in my promo series for silver 2 twice last week and every time i get into champion select it crashes and then it equalls as a loss, i'd be in silver 2 now if it wasn't for these complications with the patch, tried repairing the client, nothing and did a full re install, nothing, submitted a ticket to player support but as you probably know, will take a while to get read!
 
If you review a case in tribunal, are you meant to be reviewing the first case and the rest are there for reference or are you meant to be reviewing them all? Just having a look at the tribunal for the first time.

All o them - usually have 5 cases for one particular person, review them all and then decide on the appropiate action to take.

Uninstall Pando Media Booster. It installs when you install the LoL client. You don't lose any functionality and it seems to have broken the LoL client in the recent patch.

The other recommendation was disabling the IP Helper service. Not 100% sure on the downsides of this one but you can always re-enable it if it causes problems.

All cases, basically people are only sent to the tribunal after being consistently reported across several games, you need to take all of them into account.

People have the occasional bad game so judging them on only one would be rather unfair, if only 1/5 was actually worthy of the report then I nearly always pardon unless it's something pretty vile (racism etc)

One of my mates uninstalled PMB to no avail, but disabling the IP Helper service apparently worked. I should also add that my mate didn't reinstall PMB, so maybe having both not running is what caused LoL to start working properly.
