It's a Windows IPv6 service. Type 'services.msc' into the Search box (or Run) and find 'IP Helper'. Open its properties and change the 'Startup type' to 'Disabled'.

you lose the LP as per normal games and it appears when you dont get promoted.
This is a funny old game, worked my way up to Promotion silver 2 - 1 under the chat ban - chat ban expires (and no, i didnt flame anyone at all, barely even spoke after) and im on a 20 loss / 4 win streak - 1 loss away from being back in silver 4.
Its like the game's trolling you at times.
Some highlights:
Guy calls ADC, picks Ez, builds AP in game.
Guy picks Ez first pick - doesnt communicate at all - in game demands to go mid and build AP.
A jungle Xin who feeds 3 kills to Wukong top, then complains I cant compete with him (as Vlad.. with no kills)
No less then 12 disconnects.
Reckon its best to avoid this game during school holidays completely.

You're not the only one. I was in and out of my promo from S2 to S1 and now all of a sudden I'm sitting on 0 points in S2 in fear of relegation again... some of those were fair losses but not enough to justify. I think about 2 of them were "fair". I can;t complain too much. Soon my luck will turn and I'll end up on the team trouncing the other one for the same reaons, similar for my S5 --> S2 promos.

consistency is key, get a group of champs and know them inside out, figure out how to play against other champs even if they hard counter you. (for example I know how to play vs panth if im GP and 9/10 will win the lane and the game in the process)
Forget the guides and look to find your own builds that suit YOUR playstyle, providing their a little bit sensible.

And there it is, demoted to silver 4 again.
Frustrating thing is there is literally nothing I can do to prevent it, at all, because my team are either trolling or afk on the majority of the losses.
Or in the last games case, a support who plays Morgana, refuses to buy wards, tries to build AP and contributes nothing - who was bronze 4 - and only got into the game by grouping with someone in Duo queue.

Theres trolls in all divisions,I used to cry about the ones in bronze but now I cry about the ones in Silver. The difference? I made it to silver by upping my game and those bronze trolls are either still there or out of the game for good.

welp, contrary to what most people experience in this game I'm quite enjoying matchmaking. Got to platinum in 30 wins. Just got my plat 5 promo series after 5 more wins. 35 and 20 in solo queue, 24 and 15 with Vayne and 17 and 6 with Caitlyn.
Is your summoner name Alpherah too? If so, I'm not surprised you're stuck in silver with only 600 wins across ranked and normal. That's not many hours in the game, and hours played = skill.

I just cant seem to make sense of this though, i can only think i have horrendous luck, Id say more than half my ranked games so far have had an afk but its always in my team. I cant think of one game where the other team have had an afk. Just had 2 promotion matched, both with afk and therefore losses. The odds mean it must happen in the other team but just never seems to.

I haven't had an afk player (as in, rage afk because team is losing/arguing) in my 60-70 ranked games so far. When people say things like you have, I generally just put it down to confirmation bias. You only remember the afk games or whatever. Because honestly, there's no way it can happen that much to you. I play this game a hell of a lot and I encounter very little trolling.
What benefit is it to me to lie about something as daft as that lol

I cant always tell if they have an afk so thats down to observation in the game which could be missed but i certainly know when ones went missing from my game and at the moment the number is staggering when you think of percentages there is the fact ive only played 35 games.

I feel your pain I have lost to silver 5 promos becuase of afk's and Super Teemo's
just hang in their the tables do turn in your favour aswell. It just seems like it's stacked against you.
Dud eyou're in platinum your public match rating is probably high enough that you don't see it as much.
When your public match rating is aslow as mine every game is a flip of a coin for who gets the retard/rager/troll the majority of players are bronze elo so it's no surprise that people above the line are confused about what goes on below it.

well said, I can honestly say I'm better than my league at the moment and my results are proving it. I also feel better about the game, I too felt disillusioned by bronze and then silver. at one point i'd hit such a slump i was playing with people so bad it was really a case of win lose win lose win lose win lose it does stagnate
All in all the match making system does seem absolutely terrible at times and I do think it could be tightened up I just played a game vs a varus who was not of equal skill at all. he was a bronze 3 classic. one of those eventually if the game goes on for long enough I'll out farm my opponent but he was scaling the wrong spell (e not Q) harassing me with little dmg and letting me (caitlyn) farm him to oblivion. I just cleared wave after wave then prodded ali or him a bit.
He never went back when i did he always stayed for that extra creep wave which just meant he had no mana when i came back to lane and any creep he got back was given straight back to me as i zoned him. Then he would have to Back and we would kill his support.
but if you check lol nexus his whole team bar one was bronze III/II and mine was silver with positive win/lose ratios which means it's highly unlikely that we can all be a similar elo. and the game was so one sided it looked that way too. We didn't end it when we should but they were so far behind that they couldn't snail it. finished 15-3 -12 with 338 minions breaking godlike twice.
From my intense gaming this past week I would have to say the mistakes people in bronze and low silver make are vast and obvious (my eyes have been opened). Most common one is not going back. Trying to life steal or heal when you are low with little mana is a bad idea. You basically zone yourself out of farm if you come forward to farm leona stuns you and you are dead.
Where as if you go back you can buy half an item and come back to lane with an advantage.
Bronze adc's struggle to multi-task. They are usually so absorbed on either harass or farm they fail at both. Take varus he has a Auto attack mechanism where you can fire his q inbetween auto attacks. but people don't do it they all try to get the max out of tehir Q Any dmg you can do for free on your opponent whilst not losing farm is good damage.
People don't think about their builds They have one way to build and they stick to it. If you can afford a BF why would you buy a bilgewater and boots. but they still buy the boots
Come back to lane with 40 dmg more than your oponent you can A clear faster B do more damage in exchanges. Why buy Armour pen when none of the enemy team has any real armour. I know it's your normal build but come on people you could buy and early GA instead of that last whisper you didn't need.
Supports getting drawn into ward battles. Pinks are for dragon and baron you don't have to place one every time your oponent places a green. Infact you only need vision when you are pushed. and if you are pushed it doesn't matter if they have a pink they can't get to your green to remove it.... My opponent support kept pinking my greens so I set him up put a green down he went for it vayne stunned him in the brush I pulled him punched and vayne killed him. 3 minutes later I've made him waste his pink wards on the lane brush and he has no river visibility or pink for dragon. GG
And finally people who get farmed never think about the end game they always go full damage. Darius is a fine example of this he goes 8 - 0 in lane and then buys pure damage sure he can one shot varus now but what about in 10/15 mins time when varus has 30% life steal and botrk and 250 dmg...
If that darius had bought a warmogs and a frozen mallet with his farm he would crush everyone becuase he would take all of the enemy teams focus to kill....... You see it over and over again.
