Maybe when he scored 26 goals last season and was Spurs' most attacking threat by a mile?

No doubt he started out as a defender and can still do a job there, but in recent seasons he's been played further and further forward, except when Spurs have been short at the back.

He's quite hard to define, but I would say "attacking midfielder"

I would also say "Monkey Headed Welshman with the most annoying celebration in football"

Bale wont leave, he was never going to leave.
Next year? perhaps....infact very worried if we dont GET A BLOODY STRIKER!

If United actually decide to get the cheque book out then Bale will definitely be on his way. That's what always happens when United want a Spurs player, they are practically a feeder club.

Except we should have signed the spurs players before they went to spurs for a fraction of the cost...

I don't mind leaving bale at spurs. He doesn't really cause us any harm there and 80 mill puts off even the big European clubs. Let him be, let him be. Let him be.

Maybe he just left after realising he left the oven on? :p

I wonder what's happening on the Higuain front, it's been quiet for a while now after it seemed as though everything was virtually wrapped up the other week. Personally I'd prefer rotating Podolski and Giroud up front and buying an actual left winger instead of forcing Poldi there. Think we could do with a right back as well, nobody amazing, just someone defensively sound who can teach Jenkinson, hopefully Sagna will eventually leave after this season.

As far as the Suarez stuff goes I think it's just some bizarre rumour being forced upon us by Sky and the rags, it would be an incredibly uncharacteristic purchase and while he is undoubtedly very good at this ball foot malarkey, he is simply too much of a **** for me to ever want to see him in an Arsenal shirt. Biting, diving, moaning, those teeth, the list goes on, we all know Arsene would never spend the sort of money it would take to get him, and nor should he either in my opinion.

I also don't really see the need for another goalkeeper either. First half of the season our defence was crap, second half they pulled their finger out and the whole back line and keeper performed well for months. Szczesny is still very young and while I don't think he's the next Oliver Kahn he's probably going to mature into a fairly reliable stopper. Certainly no reason for people (Yas) to get all foamy mouthed about us "missing out" on Cesar, who I doubt we were even in for to begin with.

Higuain is now being courted by Napoli last i heard, so if thats true it looks like the Higuain to Arsenal transfer is probably dead now.

I agree with you regarding Suarez, to me i cant see how or why Wenger would want him at the club especially with his track record...just doesnt make any sense whatsoever. He may be a very good goalscorer but his attitude on the pitch isnt what Arsenal need.

As for the goalkeeper situation?? we do need one and id like us to get Cesar. Chesney as good as he is just isnt that great, hes still pretty error prone but hes young so we can only hope he gets better. Reason why id like to see us get Cesar is at least he could be a mentor of sorts for both Ches and Fabianksi. But we all know Wenger wont spend any decent money on getting a world class keeper in:rolleyes:...he hasnt since Seaman retired. So no im not getting foamy mouthed Kill, we need strengthening in certain areas and having a true world class keeper would help us immensely.

BREAKING NEWS

Wayne Rooney is set to join Chelsea after his wife
Coleen agreed personal terms with John Terry

There's a much better Rooney to Chelsea joking involving a song sung about John Terry's mum - not really suitable for here though unfortunately.

When did bale become a forward? Midfielder or defender maybe.

:/

how does it rate compared to say Robbie Keane's bow and arrow mime where the silly tit lets go of the bow? or Crouch's robot thing? there's got to be worse celebrations than Bale's effort
Neither of those as as bad as Bale's. Not even close.

Not only is his ****, but it's very, very gay and he tried copyrighting it!

Monkeyfag.

Cesar would be a great addition to the squad. If Chesney gets injured or goes though a spell of poor form, we need to good keeper to step in, or even challenge Chesney for the number 1 shirt. The added bonus is that he's very experienced as well so Chesney will learn a fair deal from him and having competition should improve Chesney's game. Fabianksi is not reliable enough as number 2 imo. Only problem is whether Cesar's wage demads would take up a considerable portion of our wages budget which could be used on bringing in other players to improve areas of the squad which are needed most. It could be deemed a waste if we pay Cesar 100k pw just to sit on the bench.

Cesar would come in as number 1.

Possibly but that could mean losing a potentially very good goalkeeper for a short term gain. That's if Chessers gets the ump and wants to leave if he's not no. 1. Either way, Cesar will not be coming to Arsenal. We'll probably re-sign Richard Wright or Mart Poom :o

Robbie Keane's is embarrassing, but the half hearted attempt at a cartwheel, like a 5 year old on school sports day deserves credit.

Crouch's "robot" has long since been retired. Having said that, the useless lump probably hasn't scored since 2008.

Bale's "heart" is cringeworthy.

He only looks like a monkey when he's naked.

And you obviously don't remember the cringeworthy one he used to do with Ince :/
