Can anyone recommend a good airport parking firm for Gatwick North Terminal.

I've used Airparks in the past and whilst it was ok, the transfer was quite long and pretty crammed on the bus, something I don't fancy doing with a 3 year old and 12 week old in tow.

Gatwick are offering their own now, and after the programme last night with 4 of 6 cars being stored in dodgy places and being driven around I'd just cough up for the full monty

I saw that last night. The excuses were just nonsense. Especially the one that was taking cars home.

You can pay a little bit extra with Airparks and they'll drive your car to the airport for you? Just an idea.

I went with them a few weeks back, queue was tiny and bus no more than 8-10 people on. No issues :)

There's one called Summer Special parking that most of my extended family use multiple times a year and never had any problems. Its about a 5 minute bus ride from the terminal, I think its actually on their property. And as a bonus its normally the cheapest.

try gatwickparkandfly.net they are a local B&B that offer parking as well even if you are not a resident, it's 5 mins from the Airport and they'll drop you there or arrange a taxi

I always use this, as do many of my friends - cheap, close to the airport, good security, good transfer.

have used summer special, was reasonable but a bit of a wait as I just missed the bus that was there when I arrived, so had to wait 15 mins for the next one. The official valet parking is where it's at if you can get a good price... and much more organised than stansted's valet parking :s

I used Summer Special a couple of years ago.

Didn't have any troubles with buses to and from the car park, they weren't really even that busy.

Only issue I did have was that when I picked my car up, both the front tyres were low on air. I hadn't spotted it, then had a blow out on the motorway on the way home. Pressures were fine on the way to the airport, so I could never work out whether the pressure had just dropped over a week, or whether they had been tampered with.

APH have a very good reputation. The grounds are fairly secure and the buses/coaches do regular trips and are in good condition.
