Listen im only posting what i heard so dont shoot me, who the hell knows what is really going on other than Barca and Fabregas. He may well be for sale or he may not be but the other thing i dont get is why would he go to Utd??...Fergie isnt there anymore and you have a new manager who hasnt really proven himself at the very top flight.

Personally i think if Fergie was still there then there would be every chance that Fab could go to Utd but at the moment..sorry i cant see it and no i dont think he would come back to Arsenal either:p

I'm not shooting anyone.

You are posting what you heard, absolutely fine - but it seems you actually have no opinion/reasoning from yourself (not just you, others too) as to why that everyone should believe the line that a player isn't for sale.

We see it often the whole denying of a player being for sale and they then get sold. Clubs won't admit it, it doesn't keep the price up.

I'm not even going to bother to try and answer why a player would go to Manchester United, because it's quite obvious, it's not suddenly an unattractive club - but there would have to be more to it for a player such as Fabregas, at the prime of his career at one of the most successful clubs to move, yes.

In addition to this, clubs won't go around bidding willy nilly for players; there would be some indication from the player or club that a move is possible.

Firstly who did wigan beat in the fa cup final?

Secondly what are Everton and Wigan net spend in the premiership? I have everton at 50 million and wigan 5 mil. I see where your heading with this...

They beat City, they beat one top side on the way to the cup. Everton had to play and beat in 2009 Liverpool, Villa, Boro, Manu and then Chelsea in the final. The only club in the top 6 we didn't have to play was Arsenal. A far harder run than Wigan beating Everton who just has poor Moyes as a manager to get to face city in the final.

Net spending I suggest you look here. It's not every year in wages and transfers we have out spent wigan.

Anyway it changes nothing, I'd still rather be in the premiership with Moyes than win an fa cup and get relegated. I guess we shall see how martinez does this year. Not that you will watch any of it, or your own team.

I don't even know what that chart is trying to tell me really, except that on average wigan are 16th and everton 8th.

Wigan are a much smaller club than everton,

But anyway, I wouldn't have chosen either of those managers to be the UTD manager.

its interesting how much stick is thrown by UTD fans here, I'll tell you a short story, just after moyes was announced etc I was in the pub with some mates and a mate of a mate was a city fan. Anyway we talked football for a while. He stood up and shook my hand and said that I was the first UTD fan he's ever been able to have a conversation about football with, because so many are so ingrained in believing that everything that UTD do is the most perfect thing every time, displaying arrogance that he couldn't have a sensible conversation.

Every time I criticise a UTD move here what I hear from UTD fans is 'R U EVEN UTD FAN' which is really sad. Like any company or club, they can make good or bad moves. it doesn't stop you from supporting them, but when the 'fans' don't allow you to voice an opinion because it conflicts with their own belief that UTD are infallible.

Bafetimbi Gomis fee is 8million not sure if it's euros. Only has to agree personal terms as he's interested in the move.

big fee from Newcastle seeing he only has a year left on his contact I think

Time for Joe to mess it up

Moyes is also hopeful that Danny Welbeck will rediscover his scoring touch. "When I arrived I was told how important Danny had been and how important he will be," said Moyes. "We're giving him an opportunity now and he has the chance to get some games. It would be worse if he wasn't getting chances. Hopefully he'll start taking a few of those chances and that will give him the confidence to go on a run and score a few goals."

Red between the lines you ***.

It's a classic way to say to his player publicly, your not scoring enough, relax and the goals will come.

How many managers have you heard say, 'Yeah he's getting the chances alright but he's missed some right sitters, one more and he's out'

I sometimes wonder if you know anything about football

At least he hasn't been compared to his wife:p

That funnily enough it goes back more than one year and squads are built on one seasons spending, that you cannot interpret that says a lot.

He shook your hand because you had an equal hatred of United. He probably couldn't believe his luck.

No it's because you are never positive about anything. Plenty are critical, some more than others but you have literally nothing good to say.

I'm not happy about Martinez but I will give him time. He's not had chance to prove anything yet. Yet you are literally willing failure on your own new manager just so you can say "told you so".

You have had the greatest manager the league has ever seen for success and yet I've never seen you say anything positive and when the season starts badly your one of the first to be saying he should go. Only for the team to then win the league.

If Moyes won 37 league games 6-0 next year, you would whinge about the one he lost 1-0.

Let me tell you a short story. My brother in law is a very nice bloke and he works at a mencap home. I'm sure he could sort you some funding and a room, the patients need a cheer up every now and then.

Re: Arsenal, im hearing that we are going to up our offer for Suarez to £35mill plus £5mill addons/bonuses....making it £40mill which is what Liverpool fans are asking for in here...unless Liverpool say nope £40mill all upfront. Im hoping Liverpool say no and Arsenal dont buy Suarez, i couldnt deal with his antics on the field if he was an Arsenal player:p
Rodgers has already laughed off your previous bid yet you/your club/manager think an extra £5million will make all the difference :D
