Ebay Collection in Person

What?
Why are you trying to end it, I don't understand.

It ends when the time runs out, the highest bidder then comes to your house and picks it up.

probably been offered a good price to end it early?
No. :o
I'm not sure what to mark the item as if sold?

Does it have be collected at home? Can it be collected somewhere else?

I don't really understand your confusion if it's not an offer outside eBay?

Highest bidder, auction ends, if they wanna collect, they pick it up.

Outside ebay, grab the cash, end listing and say it wasn't available.

Mark the item as what? Wait til they have paid then say payment has been received? If they bid and win, it's 'sold'?

Where did you say it can be collected from?
If you didnt see where the lsiting says, it might just say a town, so anywhere in that area ish. So no it doesn't have to be from home, but that's the norm, or a workplace.

It hasn't sold yet as the auction hasn't ended, so you don't mark it as anything.

It's this thread a wind up.

It was an offer outside eBay through their messaging service. Its against the Ebay policy.

You said it wasn't an offer outside eBay first..

Either way, take the money (If they actually turn up) and then end the listing.

If you want to follow eBay as the rulebook says put it as a buy it now price for the buyer to purchase it, then ask them to collect, then pay some seller fees for no real reason.

You mean, other than making the item available to people to purchase?

I'll just warn you.

Don't let them pay online or through PayPal. Cash only. Or they will claim that you never posted the item and get their money back.
