I saw something the other day. Something like 93% of black men killed are killed by other black men?
Yeah, I saw it on CNN IIRC.

So I was watching Big Brother last night and I saw this guy daley grab a girl around the neck and say that he was going to nut her. And I was like, I wish people would stop profiling these guys.

Just been reading about the Melissa Alexander case. Again only really from the "popular" media sites etc in general but it's amazing how two self defense cases can have such different outcomes in the same state. Yes, no two different cases are the same but regardless of race, ethnic background and profiling how can one get 20 years for firing a "warning shot" and another be let off despite killing him.
Granted the media have spun this to their own agenda (whatever that might be) and to whip up hype, interest and controversy but at the end of the day a neighborhood watch volunteer shot and killed a 17 year old. I find it amazing how the media have portrayed the two and none of us will ever know what really went down or their thinking behind what happened. Just glad I live in the UK!

Warning shots are dangerous, you don't know what they're going to bounce off and what they might hit. Her case wasn't self defence at all, she was having an argument and then left to her car to get her gun before coming back into the house and firing her shot into the wall which then ricocheted into the ceiling. There were children in the house at the time and she was offered a 3 year plea deal but rejected it.

Trayvon was trying to kill Zimmerman simply because he was following him. Following someone (short term) is not a crime, attempting to murder them for it is absolutely ridiculous. This case is almost textbook self defence.

Don't be intentionally dense, you know exactly what he means, he's stating what most people already know, black youths are at a high risk of falling in to crime, gangs and generally bad situations that are very hard to get out of.
Anyone interpreting it otherwise is doing so on purpose to stir ****.

Not particularly, he is responding to something that is on the minds of a large number of his countries citizens and once again highlighting a real issue, he may be using it as an excuse to get something done which frankly is just what politicians do.

Rubbish, he is appealing to a certain demographics as a soundbite. If he wanted to do something about the murders he would do something about gun ownership and speak out on that so there was change. Except he just gives that sort of thing the odd mention as he doesn't want to upset another demographic.
The bloke has no credibility. He's happy to talk about a case which has already been manipulated to high-heaven when he should just butt out but is strangely quiet on things he should be address Gitmo, Texan Abortion Laws, gun ownership, etc.
He wants the "stand your ground" law dropped and trying to make any more such cases federal.
I lived in Florida when there was no law like that and the blacks was kidnapping people left right and centre.
