Ban women from shopping alone

Islamic clerics and tribal elders in Pakistan's north-west Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province have barred women from shopping without a male relative.

This has got to be because one of the clerics wives went out and spent a fortune on his credit card so now they are finding a plan to stop it happening again under the 'religion' guise so it has to be accepted.

I thought Muslims couldn't have credit cards, due to their balances attracting interest. :confused:

That's what he means by "distraction", a single woman alone is seen as deliberately unprotected or available. During Ramadan you are supposed to be thinking about purity, not lusting after women's bare ankles or whatever.

It's this kind of misogynist logic that creates the stupid dress code.
