Hi, just being reading about dodgy psu's and how they can wipe your system out when they go wrong.

I have a blue storm ii 500watt psu, it has 6 Molex, 4 sata, 1 24, 1 4pin, 2 Pcie and 1 8 pcie.

Has anyone got one or used one before ?

I read some reviews a while back and they was all good reviews.

I can't afford my system to have a melt down hence why I'm asking :)

TBH, you will be better off with the Thermaltake or the XFX (Pro 550W would be my choice). The Corsair isn't really designed with high power graphics cards in mind, although it will take a 5770 no problem, should you upgrade, you will want something with more power on the 12 volt rail.

Keep your old PSU as a backup.

Sadly, OCUK no longer stock the Pro 550W. :(
