Just got a GTX770

Shouldn't have any problem with gpu grunt, though you might be limited by lack of vram if you run a lot of skyrim mods. Not sure about gta iv and how much memory you need for that with mods sorry.

It depends on your resolution to be honest. Skyrim at 2560x1600 with loads of mods is using 2.6 GB VRAM on my HD 7950. On my GTX680 with 2GB VRAM I was getting a lot of stuttering with the same mods and settings. I never tested at 1920x1080 so you may be OK at lower resolution.

I been playing skyrim at 1080p with 2 texture mods and an amazing lighting overhaul and it's running really smooth 60fps with 4xmsaa everything else maxed and haven't seen it go above 1.6gb vram usage.

I seem to run out of cpu gpu grunt before vram gets any where near 2gb.

I was trying to run that enb mod and was getting really bad framerate so had to uninstall it. The new lighting mod I got looks better and doesn't ruin the framerate.

I could put it up to 8x msaa and it would use more than 1.6gb vram but then I wouldn't get a constant 60fps.

Whats mods are you guys using to take up the vram usage above 2gb? and can you still get a constant 60fps?

Long Range, Hi Res LODs
Multiple hi-res texture packs
Improved water
SweetFX through RadeonPro
2x MSAA
FXAA

I find the VRAM usage sitting around 2.5gb with the above mods and settings.

As Darujhistan said, either W.A.T.E.R or Pure Waters would be my recommendation. W.A.T.E.R does add more than just water effects though, it adds lilies etc.

Do a search on Skriym Nexus.
