Vayne is never banned in higher elo.. I went all the way through gold and didnt see her banned once. Also its a common misconception that if you have a vayne you win lategame. Thats not true it depends on the team comps and the players

In scottehs case hes a very good vayne and so can carry into the late game but she isnt that broken you just have to catch her in teamfights and if thats not possible then wp by the enemy team :)
 
I had a few rough games yesterday that I couldn't really do anything about (I made a few questionable plays in some, granted, but some guys were just bad). Up to a certain point, SoloQ is mostly luck though - you could be the best player in the world but if the other members of your team are trash you're still likely to lose.

I love Vayne to bits (my favourite champion), so I guess I'll just play her religiously in ranked and hope for the best! :p
 
Managed to get into my promotion series for Bronze 1. Will play them tonight and see how they go. Target for now is to make it to silver.

Well in high silver most people can't catch her. I can say from experience ADC's all the way to silver 1 are bad. I'm bad scotteh would smash me all over the place i have no doubt but it's odd how un focused so many adc's are. with the exception of DUOQ even if I'm last pick people are usually very happy to let me ADC and they should do too my average adc stats are better than most people in my leagues

I would certainly ban vayne if i didn't intend on playing her. Would much rather smash ezreals face into the floor. Vayne can change a game in an instant and it's all good and done saying you can zone her but how much damage can a team take from 4 otehr champs whilst trying to bait a good vayne into a fight.

Of all the ADC's behind dravens early game or any draven than can three axe lol Vayne is the one i lose most games two even if i win lane vs her.
 
yeah i've given it a try dorans shield is a superb item if you ar eplanning on going balls deep. I support for my mate in gold3's vayne when he helps me I know cus we ar eon teamspeak he just says if you can get one go for it. and I do and he does. :)

supporting him has definitely improved not only my support but my adc but he uses dorans shield most of the time.

I have this sinking feeling I was the GP in that match.
 
I need help :( I cant stand life in low ELO (again) any longer. Since the holidays started:




11 games today:
4 games were 4v5
2 games were 3v5
2 games had a troll pick
1 game had an intentional feeder
and 2 wins.

When is riot going to take things more seriously and start with IP bans? so many trolls and afk's at low ELO completely ruin the game.

I think you'd want to forget it fast if you were. In theory building MR was a good call... but there was no damage to back it up. Those few occasions where Malphite went in with his ult and hit 4 or 5 people just had no-one close to back it up, lol.

Nature of ARAM I guess.

Well done Scott, you're a Diamond level player playing on Silver, you must be so good :rolleyes:

No, what you did was show off. Diamond is not the next tier above Silver. If you were in Gold and you were pulling off such wins in Silver regularly then yeah, valid point well made, you need to improve before you're good enough for Gold, but you aren't so your point is utterly moot.

Alpherath has flamed on here about league games and how bad his team mates are for months and never once have I seen him acknowledge he was also a part of his teams demise. Yes rage quits and general disconnects cannot be accounted for but you don't have to have a full scale rant on here about how bad every game has been ( which im seeing more and more regularly ).

I have alpherath on my friends list and have specd some games of him in the jungle. He will secure an early lead and do nothing else with it he cant carry his team properly with assasin junglers ( which for the most part is what he plays ). He needs to take a step back from ranked and nail 3 to 4 champs and carry with them before playing it again.

In short he almost dinged 30 and dove straight into ranked games. 400 games is not enough knowledge to get to high elo in this game for most players. Less raging condense your champ pool and when you lose a game instead of thinking what your team did not do, think of something YOU could have done different. If its a rage quit or whatever dont get mad just report them try to do your best and see what happens.

my point is valid though. if you can't go up in ranked it's because you're currently at your skill cap and you need to improve. that's it.

In ranked should you really be able to play all 5 positions?

I figured i can do ADC, Supp and mid so should be safe enough but had my 2nd game of the promotion series and despite pick order there was a premade bot and another wanting mid and no one would budge. I explained ive never really jungled and dont really have many top champs so youre looking at Teemo as the only real choice. No one would still move so i took teemo then everyone starts moaning about the fact ive fed khazix yet hes killed me once ive killed him once, though regardless i explained the situation pregame and the fact no one was prepared to have any leeway, they all all claimed one position and wouldnt move.

Is 3 positions safe enough, must say its the first time in 60 ranked games its happened. I did lose this one but one the first and last so up to bronze 1 now.
 
I'd learn a jungler just in case. Someone easy and effective like Sejuani. Since you play mid already, perhaps add Kennen to your champ pool (he's easy to learn, you become real good with him in 20-30 games) since he can play top too.

If I don't get AD I just play vayne mid or top :D

Fortunately I haven't had to jungle yet.

Mine doesn't seem to cover my entire history.. my first main was Twisted Fate and I went well over 50 games with him. Likewise with Ezreal, Nidalee and Jarvan. I'm guessing this is since I last installed. The Lee Sin stat is probably almost right. Maybe 40-50 games off :P.
