accident claim dilemma...

Markerstudy were terrible with me when I had to claim, will never ever get insured with them again. ******

They were pretty crap from our end when someone managed to crash into the dividing wall between our house and next door. Made us jump through quite a number of hoops to claim from them, despite having a police report (the bike that hit was left in place, blocking the pavement, while the rider just buggered off, god knows how, he must have been in some pain). We reckoned they were just going to remove it in the afternoon and take the evidence with them, so lucky we were working from home that day, and some passing chap rang on our door to let us know.

Anyway, MarkerStudy didn't come out too well for us, delaying and questioning, despite it being pretty open and shut...

Got it sorted in the end, and I wish you luck.

Markerstudy

lol. Can't fault them for trying. Best if they sorted the issues out directly rather than surfing forums though.

well if you read my previous comments before they commented on this thread i have already phoned them directly but they said they would not discuss the claim with me. Nor would they discuss the claim with my insurer. I am thinking that their PR dept are better than their claims dept :P

As it's an old focus can't you just sling an identical 2nd hand door on ? Paint would match better as it's aged the same as the rest of your car & it would cost a damn sight less than 350 quid.

well i am letting the insurance company sort it out. I think they will issue it to their solictors to contact MS. I am thinking it will take a while to sort out though.
