Liquid going dark in the tank is rarely because of burning - it's usually because PG wicks better than VG + flavourings (+colourings) so the ratio in the tank changes. The older the wick and the more crudded up the coil becomes, the more PG only gets through. You might notice flavour and vapour production falling off too

I see, thanks for explaining that for me. Would you recommend emptying out the darker stuff at the bottom of the tank when refilling?

I've cleaned the existing wick and coils up on this head, and refilled with a different flavour eliquid and it's like a brand new head :D

To taste tbh. I vape coffee eliquid a lot, so mine is always turning to tar :p I usually vape til there is little left and give the head a wash + drip dry. I have a couple of heads on rotation. The tube just gets a wipe inside with kitchen towel unless changing flavour. This is with a Vision V3 (a CE5 iirc?). Eagerly awaiting my Protanks from China...

I have been using this: https://www.fasttech.com/products/1290904
for the past 3 days, with the full size ProTank as a more pocket friendly and stealthier vape. It's been flawless, although I've been charging it each night, I've yet to have a weak vape from it, so the capacity is longer than 14 hours (the longest I've gone between charges). I'm a heavy vaper. I've been so impressed with the value of the little EGO-T, as well as the performance/price of the £7 ProTank, I've ordered 5 more (1 as backup to my backup) for friends that have been blown away by how well it performs.

For under £11 delivered, I'd have to say it's the best value for money vape I can find!

I ordered this a while ago and it is dying fast - http://www.fasttech.com/product/1341709

Will try your link.

Had my first weak hit from it today - even after (what I thought was) a 2 hour charge; turned out there was a little ejuice on the 510/Ego connection, preventing the charger from making a good contact. A quick rub over with an ear bud dipped in vodka and Robert's your mother's brother... Another 2 hour (proper) charge and job's a goodun; vaping away with Simon's Apple Tart in my new Kanger ProTank. Got to be my favourite vape currently.

I must say, I wasn't expecting much from the little EGO-T, but it's quickly becoming my go-to gear. It does look a little top heavy with the KPT, but I get a full days vape out of them, without needing to refill or recharge. Simplicity is good.

The Vamo hasn't been relegated however - with the Aga T2 (SS 400 Mesh & 1.8 ohm coil) it provides my After-Dinner clouds; a silky, tasty, Peach (Simon again!) flavoured fog machine!

I asked before, but some may have missed it: if anyone has a SS Vamo (V2) that they're not using (probably due to shinyitis :p ) and would consider a swap for my Chrome one (perfick working order, odd ding/scratch as it's my main vape), I can't justify purchasing a 2nd Vamo as I'm reserving my vape fund for a higher end mod (possibly something Greek ;) ) do let me know. I'd be happy to sweeten the deal with some nice juice...

I'm fresh out of GVC :(

Can anyone recommend any really good sweet flavour eliquids please? The GVC stuff was awesome so I'm planning on buying more when it's back in stock. Are there any other 'must' have liquids that I should try?

Thanks.

Scope/Simon's juices are excellent - priced the same as GVC. My favourite juice and main vape is his Apple Tart flavour - but his Raspberry, Strawberry and Peach flavours are all excellent. The Bananana is a little overpowering for my taste - great for a couple of puffs, but I feel it quickly sickly.
Contact is via email - I'm sure Scorchisio will be happy to trust you the address. I'm on my phone atm, so I'll send it over later if someone hasn't already.

Any doubts dealing with Simon; he's a top fella and an absolute pleasure to buy from. I'm on my 5th lot of juice (ordered 100ml of Apple Tart, I love it so much!) and each batch of 12mg (he does do higher strengths) pre-steeped has been perfect.

Yeah if you (or Scorchisio) could ping it over that'd be awesome. I've seen the Apple Tart mentioned a few times on here so would be great to have something a bit different to vape, the GVC is delicious but gets a bit meh after 30ml non-stop :D

trust message sent, i honestly cant say enough good things about simon and his juices, he is a fantastic fella and they are all lovely. A perfect match to go with custard as they are of very similiar high standard :)

I trust someone will inform us here the instant Grant's is back in stock? ;) How long is it usually between batches? Couple weeks? Not tried it yet, dying to see what all the fuss is about!

I personally think that Apple Tart is better than GVC. The favours are much richer and more complex. So when you're ordering make sure its 30ml plus... or you'll regret it ;)

I have done in the past. It sold out the same day before most got back from work to order. I'd only happened across the news on another forum.

Thanks Devrij. Finchley's a bit far out for me, but I've found what looks to be a Totally Wicked retailer in the City so I'll try that out... I suspect it'll be no good but we'll see hey!

Good luck mate. I had a similar panic in oxford once so I feel your pain. It just makes you want to vape more when you're trying to ration!

+1...

...million.

I'm trying other flavours on the Aga T2, using the mesh wick as a dripper. The Apple Tart is great, but better online the ProTank. Bananana is wonderful, but too strong and sweet a flavour to vape full time. May have to dedicate a nova for an occasional hit.

I made the mistake of testing the Tiramisu on the Aga, it's a very strong, sweet coffee flavour (obviously) and not my taste at all. I'm now going to have to attempt to flush out the tank as it's really lingering. If that's not successful, looks like a new wick (and coil) needs rebuilding. :(

Anyone want swap with this 9mg Tiramisu? Genuine Liqua brand, from slowtech. LMK

@RedMogg, when i change flavours on my T2 i usually flush out the tank with water using a syringe, give it a good shake so water comes out through the wick. Empty it, then keep burning the wick until no vaper comes out and u see the coil glow, then leave it overnight for the tank to dry out, works most of the time for me.
iirc pbusardo does it at the end of his Aga T2 review
