Hi everyone, i'm new here and have a little knowledge of changing pc parts but i have no idea about actually designing/choosing which parts i need when it comes to a new build. Also i know nothing about overclocking, here's my quandry, i want to build a new gaming pc, i would like a 4gig processor and good enough graphics to play BF3/Arma-Dayz and also BF4 when it's released.
I need everything from the case up and was told that AMD is the way to go for Frostbite.
Can anybody help me?
I don't need a monitor/keyboard or mouse, i will want to be using surround sound headphones at a later date, but i'm not fussed about that for now, a soundcard i can drop in later.
My Budget is £500, can you state also whether the processors you suggest are standard or OC.
Many Many Thanks.

That was quick, the piledriver 3.5 ghz can that be overclocked? and how difficult is overclocking. Or will i even need to overclock? I know nothing lol.
Aha it has a turbo button,

The cpu has a unlocked multiplier, I have not overclocked AMD cpus so not sure on the ins and outs ;), but with the multiplier its a case of increasing this and upping the voltage a little.

Youtube will probably have tutorials or ask in our overclocking and cooling section.

That's cool, so if i was to order this lot from here, when it arrives is it just a case of bolting it all together, installing drivers and win7 and off we go?

If you want to overclock the 6300 (I'd recommend it, they're practically aimed at overclockers) you'll want to get a CPU cooler. The stock one will be noisy and will limit how far you can go. You can usually push a 6300 to about 4.3-4.5GHz without much effort.

Thanks Mate, i'm just looking at a gaming k/board and mouse to buy also, are there any deals somebody can throw in with my order, i'll have about £80 to spend on the two.
I'll check back later, time for work.
