Royal Baby soon to put in an appearance

The new born prince can be traced back to King Egbert of Wessex and beyond.

But for someone who hates the royal family you are posting a lot, post count?

How do I hate the Royal Family, sorry?

I might disagree with them, or some historical views, but that's what the forum's for. Discussion.

I hear what a great country we live in, maybe to some country's yes, but have a look on the streets, shops boarded up, people getting chucked on the scrap heap, cuts cuts, no wage rises, food and petrol prices keep rising, whats so great about this country when more and more people are going to food banks etc.
The Royals live in a different world to many, how is that fair when they are just humans like the rest of us.

Perhaps you should look at how much trouble other nations are in...

In the grand scheme of things and vs many many other countrys around the world, both those who have and haven't been hit by the banking crisis, we are doing just fine.

snip the BS

Looking at when you joined and post count I think your in here just to bash a 2 day old baby.

Well done hope your pleased with yourself.
But just for you. HRH is only days old and has generated over £300 million, what have you done compared to that?

A two year old baby has generated how much, sorry?

Do you think anybody, in the context of your argument, would actually stand much of a chance?

If your going to knock a child better have backup ready :D

The amount they said would be generated was £320 mil I just rounded it off :)

What you mean because I joined 3 days ago and only have as many posts as I've posted on here? How is that even a point?

I've got nothing against the baby in general, the same as I wouldn't have against a baby born of anyone, you can't choose who you're born to.

For the record, the baby hasn't generated over £300 million in 2 days, the hysteria is predicted to generate that much money.

And just for you, who do you think will be spending that money? Foreign tourists who are happy to join in the hysteria for a souvenir of their trip to Blighty but would baulk at the thought of having a monarchy in their own country or British subjects?

Also, if the baby is only 2 days old, how can that be an achievement?

I honestly can't figure out if the people here defending them are playing devil's advocate or are genuinely convinced that a higher class of people that is literally unattainable for anyone but a privileged few is a good thing in a modern, supposedly equal, society.

Who said a Royal baby generated £320m in two days?

And again, do you think anybody else in the context of your argument would stand a chance of contributing like for like?

WHAT it says 2005 in your sig. what's this 3 days then hmmmm getting mixed up are we baby basher?

Of course it is how it works. Scotland has never had an Elizabeth for our current Monarch to be Elizabeth II, she is technically Elizabeth I to Scotland even though the UK political establishment wouldn't and won't stand for that as it would imply that Scotland was still a valid Kingdom, and thus country, in a time where recognition of the Unitary State - well, it's supposed to be - was patently ignored.

This was quite a strong subject long before I was born, and led to quite a few Scottish Royalist Unionists to become Scottish Nationalists.

I know the situation, doesn't stop it being a complete joke. They have said that all monarchs will take the highest number, from either Scottish or English monarchs. When the situation is reversed in England I guarantee that no one will care.

Scotland is not a valid Kingdom by the way (Nor is England).
