That's what happens when you have unlimited money and sign greedy players.
Not sure what'll happen with Falcao though due to the age situation.

They might put together a good run in the CL but i dont see them in the last 4 tbh. We dont know how good Rafa will do yet. He still has a few question marks around him so lets wait and see. If i was a top team i would definitely want to avoid them in the group stages, especially since Rafa has a good record in Europe.

Even assuming it's true, I doubt anything can happen. He's signed. Atletico appeared to know nothing, so weren't deceptive. The only choice that I can see is them cancelling his contract... and let's face it, a 29 year old Falcao is still in the prime of his career, so that's not going to happen.
It's not like they can just open a Paypal dispute.
Anyway, he must be 27. He's not Nigerian.
I know Arsenal are the only team to have put a bid in so far, but I just don't understand why he would want to go there.
I think it's more to do with him wanting to get away from Liverpool asap, I sympathise with him there. That said, Arsenal are in the CL and will be a better team with him in it. Liverpool won't be in the CL for a good while.

Wenger does have a smug look on his face!Heard that they were offering Coentrao in any deal for Bale, so it doesn't sound crazy. I don't think he's great, but he's a darn-sight better than Assou-Ekotto. If you don't face any right wingers all season you'll be fine and dandy.

he is better than BAE and will suit our style of play. i just don't see how it wouldn't end up with real putting us over a barrel over a deal and levy must surely know this.
i can't see bale going this window but there may be talks in the near future that will reach an agreement that he goes next summer if we don't get cl or even if we do.

Coentrao is rubbish, nothing less and cost them 30mil and would have gotten a huge wage to go along with that. He's poor defensively, ridiculously aggressive(like Marcelo he likes doing nasty tackles), his crossing/attacking is meh. He's never a 30mil defender in a million years and frankly i don't think he's better than BAE, probably worse.
He's pretty similar to BAE + the red card risk of Ramos(as in competant refs would send him off almost every match he played), thats the best way to think of him. He's worth sub 10mil and sub 60k a week but they'll want a huge price(even if that is a huge part of the transfer fee knocked off) and he'll want well over 100k a week most likely). Would be a truly awful move for Spurs to swap Bale for a ludicrously priced, pretty rubbish left back who would want wages that dwarf everyone elses at the club.

rubbish as is in that rubbish he's blagged an entire career out of it ala titus bramble or just rubbish iyo? i haven't seen much of him apart from internationals and i thought he looked decent. what are you basing him being rubbish on specifically? this is a genuine question of interest, not me disagreeing per say...
BAE is a liabillty imo so if you're saying he is not an improvement, i'd like to know why you feel so. rose not good enough for a team that wants to push for consistent top 4 and naughton is way off. our lb position certainly needs addressing.
anyway, it's all gone quiet on the soldado front but i'm hoping this may be a case of no news is good news.
BAE is a legend and a much better than walker on the other side of our defence. BAE doesn't get forward but he is rarely out of position. Every time I see walker play he gambles that he will be able to catch up if he is out of position.
