Well considering by going after Suarez you've changed the whole ethos of your club and Wenger's personal beliefs, I think you're ******** it that you wont come close, especially as every team that would be considered as the 4th place challengers (us, Spurs and maybe Everton?) are strengthening.

Annoying seeing this Fabregas transfer treated in such a way. It's almost like we're coming across as bullying Barcelona into selling him to us.

I dunno, I can imagine it's Woodward wanting to make a mark in the world of transfers, whilst being a bean counting genius by all accounts we don't know what his tactics are like round a negotiation table.
I kind of like that we're not messing about, bang a bid in, take it or leave it, instead of doing the merry transfer dance we get led into year after year.

I don't think Bent's a bad player at all, certainly better than the chances he's been given recentley at Villa. The other choice is a diving racist thug, pretty simple really. Bent would be £5m ish, and would be a better bench player than the other 3 strikers in the squad (MC, NB and Park)

I worry we will get him. He's a good player, I don't doubt that, but his attitude stinks. He should have had the book thrown at him for the Evra thing, and I can't change my mind over that.
If he does come, I'll celebrate Arsenal goals, it doesn't mean I'll ever like him as a player.
